    1. Thanks for the detail, I thought it was his name, so it reads Mr Sgt Kucklinski of Wiesbaden? Still cool though? Cheers jock:)
    2. Guys, You do have to love them, they save the most trivial paperwork, I am glad of that though! A bill for a typical officer at the local approved tailor. I like the price on his lion head sword. Jock:)
    3. Guys, Had a bit of a pot day as it goes, this tickled me. The crack in the lip is a firing flaw so I suppose this stuff was low quality mass produced for the masses. Jock:)
    4. Guys, Not really clewed up about these, any direction gratefuly received, it was a freeby with the porcelane thing for chickens so I doubt it will be up to much. The bloke seemed to think it was an OK Brunschwieger badge? Seems to lack a bit of detail? I am not the worlds best photographer so have tried a few different light/angles. Cheers Jock:)
    5. Guys, Been out to play today, the sun was out and so were the stands at the markets. I got this unusual porcelane award for I imagine chicken breeding or such like, its a bit bazzar but nicely made. It is a bit grubby looking, I was thinking of giving it a wash with warm soapy water, any objections or better advice? Cheers Jock:)
    6. No worries, I'm happy with the picture just thinking of your database, as stated it could be any one of the people pictured or even someone else. I know you have an eye for it thats all. Cheers.
    7. Mate, Looks like your grip has broken off at some point and been repaired with leather, some of the original grip is present near the hilt? An unusual repair but quite clever. Jock:)
    8. I guess they were a wholesale item that retailers could buy then and add their mark? Cool! Cheers. Jock:)
    9. I am unsure which part you mean, can you show what you mean on yours? Cheers
    10. Guys, I know its not valuable or that interesting but for me it is always nice to find a bit of local history it is from Bergen the town I live in. I shall check if the shop is still around. Jock:)
    11. I wonder if there was an armourers tool to stick down the scabbards to knock out dents, would seem there was a need for one?
    12. A fair point, if it can't cut anything it's no use! With regards mint stuff, can't stand it as it is normaly too good and too new to be true but that stuff is being manufactured for the rich, to a very high standard, good for them, keeps them away from the real stuff. You would not be disappionted at the amount of dented scratched and battered stuff I rescue!
    13. Guys, I'm sure you all think I am joking about finding stuff in the tips so this one was yesterdays find, nothing fancy but still dissapointing that it was unloved! What a shame about the stupid or selfish people doing this sort of thing all over Europe and possibly the world. It was damp and is drying out now which has caused it to bent a bit (last pic). Jock:)
    14. R,H. Since they are not serial number issued items it would be impossible to trace ownership. The only chance is if you get it directly from the family but even then there are no garuntees that it has not been replaced to the estate post war. Jock:)
    15. Guys, While raking through the junk rediscovered these pair. Maker Puma double marked and the other M7/56 = C.D. Schaaf. Shame some clown sharpened the blade on the Puma! Jock:)
    16. Guys, Just rediscovered this in my Army portrait folder, don't remember puting it there! Hucks, it occured to me the signature on the reverse may be useful for the database or it may just be a staff man? More your bag than mine! Wouldn't mind finding the sign.... Jock:)
    17. Herman, Thanks for the detail. So likely he got them in/for Kosovo. Cheers Jock:)
    18. I know what you mean, photography is a challenge on its own. I only have a couple of Army Assault lads to hand to compare the general cut and colour (see attached). Probably no help since the SS cut and produced their own gear? What about a field or private made item given the lack of collar flashes?
    19. John, Sorry, I have no idea except that they issue the Nato medal to troops in Afgahnistan? Perhaps Feldjaeger 1 has an idea as this appear to be more his bag? Jock:)
    20. Guys, Got this yesterday it was with its wound badge, thought the design was quite nice. Jock:)
    21. If you take the hat as a standard grey one then the jacket could be black in colour, standard Pz man wearing non standard hat? Jock:)
    22. Can't beleive they are coping these allready! Here is my souvaneer of 2003. Jock:)
    23. Are you a dealer? If not pm me where to send them, I think I can stretch to the postage. Jock:)
    24. Guys, Some disgruntled Bundy soldier threw these in the bin. If any non dealer would like them they are free to a good home! Jock:)
