    1. I don't have it in hand, but looks to be when I enlarged the picture. Any idea of era or maker. It's good all the same eh?
    2. Wow! A group of these look nice don't they?
    3. What does everyone think of this Turkish Star? Not familiar with these. Thanks, Steve
    4. Another nice one. Hope your wife isn;t registered here. Guess you told her it was about $75 bucks. Or one of my favorites: "I traded it for something I already had in my collection"
    5. Looks like LW to me, a known mark. This is not a TR era piece. I believe the frame has been cleaned or polished, giving it the look of the TR era "new silver" frame.
    6. These EK1s were never marked with 98 though were they? Only unmarked or L/58. Wonder why?
    7. Nice! I did not know there was a second class version of these.
    8. Here it it. JWS is harder to find than M+M I would say. Also, all my 1914 EK2's can be seen in this thread. http://gmic.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=13872
    9. Tha ks, it is a nice one. I still think my JWS edges it out though.
    10. Richard, that first one you posted, do you think the pin is original? Look at the gap between the pin and the barrels on either side. Maybe it is a replacement pin also.
    11. I agree with Greg. I think this is a Deumer, umarked of course. It has the TR era frosting. However, I would think this was made from 39-45, so more like actual WW2 era.
    12. Nice one. These are harder to find than some think. I like the TR era EKs as an interesting variant to collect.
    13. I was going to suggest you sell it to me. What do you think happened to it?
    14. Ahh, too bad on the front. Probably worth keeping due to the attachement system. Still a shame.
    15. It must be easier to tell in hand. From the pictures it doesn't satnd out like a replecement as some pins do. I can see why you took the chance. My advice is to keep it. These are proably the nicest looking Iron Crosses, and if you ever see another one with the same pin, you'll feel bad if you let this one go. Looks like a good replacement job if it is one.
