    1. The maker is on the pin. A bit faint but you can see it.
    2. Here's my latest pickup. It's marked HBG on the pin and I'm pretty happy with it.
    3. I can't wait to get them! Looks to be a K a Wilm and an 800 marked piece. Pictures can only tell so much, youreally don't know how good tehy are till you hold them yourself. I picked up nice HBG 1st class last week. I'll post some pics later tonight when i get home.
    4. That's a nice cross with the real dark look to it. I have a couple of EK2's on the way and I'm pretty sure one is a Wilm. I'm not totally sure but part of the fun will be to check it out when it shows. I'll add all crosses to my collection posting when they arrive.
    5. I was just asked to post a maker mark photo over on WAF and honestly I don't know how to get such a small shot. What would I do. I don't think my camera will get in that close. The mark is a fairly large Z over something else which you can sort of make out as a WS. gues the core lets you know it's WS. Any ideas on how to get the shot?
    6. I appreciate the comments. If you keep loking you should find some deals. As you get more the maker marks that you don't have get harder to find. You have to shake a few trees. Working on some EK1's also, plus there's always is the 1939 series too. I have about a dozen of them. They're all nice really.
    7. One way or the other it's a really nice cross and packet. I'd love to have it.
    8. Whose to say if the cross and packet actually came together originally? Could have easily been put together later on. Someone saying they came together means nothing really.
    9. Thank you. It's where I've been focusing my collecting lately. I love these things. Hopefully more to come. Steve
    10. The rear of the KAG. Thanks for looking.
    11. Finally one marked KAG. These are supposed to be common but I never saw that many for sale. Finally got one.
    12. The rear of the WuS. The frame is nice on this one but there is a little surface rust on the core. I may try and clean it.
    13. A few more have joined the family. First is a maker marked A that came on a single parade mount.
    14. That's some of the ones I'm talking about. Thanks for all that information. St. John's has witnessed alot of history in it's time.
    15. The album and photos they have at the Crow's nest in St. John's are really nice. Lots of shots of the boat and crew, kriegs flag etc. Many of the crew can be seen wearing Iron Crosses and Sub Badges. I know there are alot of photos out there but these are neat because it's in Canada and about 10 minutes from my house. The pictures are larger than the normal wartime shots too.
    16. That looks like the mark for KO.
    17. Thanks. That's what I was told concerning the sub, but this tells a different story. Interesting no matter what.
    18. Sounds about right. Different variations on the makers marks. Guess you could collect them all or just one depending on how far you want to take it. Is und German for and? If so that would explain the WuS mark. Where do I get this stuff for cleaning? Thanks
    19. Here's the rear. A little rusty. Any safe way to clean this off? Should I bother. How hard are some of these makers I listed above to find other than WS which seems common?
    20. Just recieved this EK2 today. The frame is good but the core has a little surface rust. No big deal. I bought it described as a WS marked example. When I look at the mark under a glass there is something else between the W and the S. Looking at the makers chart I use, I see there are a couple of other makers listed that this could be, such as WMS, W&S, Wu-S. Any ideas? It looks like a small u to me. Anyone have any experiences with this ? I'm keeping it either way.
    21. And the rear of the LW. Again, thanks for looking.
    22. This one has a nice look. It's stamped LW on the ring.
