    1. I got mine on The WAF forum in the Bazzaar section of the E-stand. being sold by a member called Stomper. I also saw some for sale on German Combat Awards. They aren't expensive.
    2. Here's the rear showing the marking.
    3. A recent arival. A 1914 EK1 marked S-W on the pin, for Sy & Wagner it is believed. An overall decent example I think.
    4. Looks good to me. I had heard KAG was really common, but I went for over a year without seeing one for sale. I finally picked one up, but since then I've seen about 4 or 5 for sale. Wild. I like Kags in both EK1 and EK2. One of the really classic Iron Crosses, along with a few other longtime warriors. I think a big collection of KAGS and KOs would be sweet. My KO is one of my nicest crosses. Steve
    5. Looks like we've all been trumped. What a great piece.
    6. Is this done with your new photo studio?
    7. The rear. Pictures are a bit dark.
    8. Micha, good to see you showing a good old fashioned blue collar EK2, and like you said, a nice one. The KM800 Gordon shows is a nice one. Just shows you how much it will take to even coming close to getting every mark. Here's my KM. My example is quite nice too.
    9. Don't you know there's children going to bed at night with only unmarked Meybauer crossplate EK1s?
    10. What's the story on these Victoria marked pieces? Is that the maker? I think it's an awesome item.
    11. That ones got it all. Three different silver stamps and the Meybauer hallmark. Nice.
    12. Well I just checked the list of EK2 makers on Kaisers cross and there is an RW listed as a maker, although the maker, as many are, is unknown. Seeing you have a similar packet with KO stamped on it, I think it is safe to assume that the RW does refer to the maker, as you have a cross stamped with it also.
    13. Beautiful document. I would love something like this for my collection.
    14. Beautiful document. I would love something like this for my collection.
    15. Thanks guys. I was in the right place at the right time, and the price was fair too. You have to get lucky in this game. I think it's a good addition to my collection.
    16. Thanks, it's a nice one to add to the pile.
    17. Finally, a better shot of the L/11 maker's mark.
    18. The rear. You can see the diffrence in the finish here compared to an Imperial era example.
    19. Just recieved this interesting piece. It's a 1914 EK1 maker marked L/11 for Duemer. With an LDO number, this cross was obviously made in the last few years of World War Two as a replacement piece. Of course it has the frosted beading and other characteristics of a TR era EK and doesn't bear too much resemblance in finish to the World War One equivelants. These are still pretty cool and not that easy to come by if you ask me. A good variant for the collection. One thing though. I'm not sure what that discoloration on the 9 o'clock arm is. It almost looks like a brush stroke. I'll have to look into it.
    20. Great looking cross. It doess get harder to pick these up after you get the more common makers. I'm finding the same with Imperial EK2s.
    21. Guess you have to know where to look. I'm nothing compared to that guy though. Just the odd small victory.
