    1. Thanks Chris for the info I have found in my photo database another photo of an Oberst von Bomhardt. The photo has been taken near St Mihiel. Here I have got only name of officers. Christophe
    2. Hi, I have already shown it but I have a photo of MajorTheodor von Bomhard after 1920 showing his big medal bar. Christophe
    3. And to finish here is the photo of Leutnant Franz Buchner, always from the N. O'Connor's book, vol. 3. he is the most prestigious saxon officer who received the same combo than von Haebler. Christophe
    4. Hi everybody, Looking through my database I have found that some saxon officer airmen has received the following medals : SH3 : knight cross of St Henry of Saxe SV3bX : knight cross 2nd class with X of Merit Order of Saxe SA3bX : knight cross 2nd class with X of AlbertOrder of Saxe EK2 : iron cross 2nd class HHO3X : knight cross with X of the House Order of Hohenzollern. The following photo come from the vol. 3 Kingdom of Saxe of Aviation awards of Imperial Germany from Neal O'Connor. The man is Leutnant Hans Gottfriend von Haebler (1893-1918). We can clearly see the ribbon bar with five ribbons. If someone has more information about this officer, thanks in advance.I'm looking for the date of receipt of the Hohenzollern knight cross. Christophe
    5. Lt D.R Karl Döring receiving SH3 by hands of the King of Saxe. What an honor ! Christophe
    6. Hi everybody, I have received this photo and want to share with you. I haven't seen one before showing the King of Saxe giving knight cross of St Henry to one officer. Here we have the King and Staff (and at left the General Müller). The new owner of St Henry Order is the Leutnant d. R Karl Döring (1892-1918) on 7 May 1918. This officer received the following orders: SH3, SV3bX, SA3bX and both iron crosses. Christophe
    7. Hi, Thanks Alex. It confirms what I think, for me the 4th ribbon is well for the KO4 and not for the HHO3X. I read the O'Connor's book vol. 3 about Kingdom of Saxe and in pp.106-107, Neal said that Kloetzer received the knight cross with X of Hohenzollern. New research proofs this is not the case. About the crown on the SA3aX, like I said before it is possible that this crown has been received after the war, and it explains why we can't find it in saxon Albert rolls. Christophe
    8. Hi, Interresting story Les, so the negociation with russians is on the way. May be we will have the chance to see this Christophe
