    5. Ok guys here is a small clue : he received the Brunswick medal 2nd class on : 19 July 1915. Just for information, Neal O'Connor hadn't find the date in this book, so it can't help you ! Christophe
    6. Hi Matt, You are right about the two things. The ribbons are too new to be honest. Do you know the seller ? The medals looks good to me so probably you can buy it for the value of the medal only. LEt's see what the others gentlemen have to say. Christophe
    7. Hi Alex, It's not Malortie, he has neither received the Brunswick merit medal 2nd cl northe Austrian Military Merit cross 3rd class with war decoration. I said it's not easy Christophe
    8. Hi, Thanks Timo for the info, I appreciate. It's an incredible day for me. My wife has bought the same medal for our wedding birthday. I've received it this morning. Of course it's the same, only the colour of the ribbon is different . My wife is a pearl for me, she knew that I want this one and tah dah there it is ! Christophe

    13. Timo, About the second ribbon bar.It seems to be a Bavarian one, but do you know which is the last ribbon. I can't find it in my Nimmergut's book. Probably a veteran medal. Christophe
    14. Hi Timo, Matt has right, the second ribbon is definitively for the Ernestine ribbon. Too bad that the swords are not in the good sense. I don't think it can be id. Christophe
    15. Hi everybody, After looking for Albert order with swords on ring, I have found two officers with Civil Merit Order with swords on ring. For Weber, Arnold and Keil, between 1891-1918 Grand cross with swords on ring : in gold : 2 in silver vergoldet : 1 Commander cross 1st class with swords on ring : in gold : 4 in silver vergoldet : 5 Commander cross 2nd class with swords on ring : in gold : 6 in silver vergoldet : 3 For the moment I have found only two names - General d. Inf. Hermann von Schweinitz (1851-1929) received Grand Cross of Merit order with swords on ring on 15 May 1917 and he received the commander cross 1st class with swords on ring on 23 May 1908. - Generalleutnant Kurt Schmalz (1843-1919) received the commander cross 1st class with swords on ring on 15 May 1917.     18. Hi everybody, Here is my new medal from Finland. The medal for Liberation of Helsinki. This cross has been created for the 20th birthday of the liberation of the Town. A nice unmark cross with passed color ribbon. The patina is very nice too. have a look. Christophe

    21. I found another officer who received this cross : Generalleutnant Johann Meister (1862-1943) : 23 May 1914. Christophe
