    1. Thank you very much Paja, great collection! The only one that was puzzling me was the 5 stripped one. And yes, now I know the difference between the Soviet and Yugo suspension. Here are my pieces:
    2. I'm quoting you because you've mentioned different variations of ribbons in another thread, so I wish we could discuss it it a proper thread.
    3. Wow! That's really an amazing find.
    4. Yeah. That one's pretty fishy to me too. It's interesting to see the SFRY to FRY transition on a ribbon bar. Do you know to whom did it belong? Judging by the Order of Freedom, it must have been Ojdanić or Pavković.
    5. I really didn't know about different variations of the ribbon for this medal. We can discuss it in a different topic.
    6. Very nice! Thanks for sharing. I cannot unnotice unusual ribbon on Medal for Bravery on post #4.
    7. I thought of creating this topic since we don't have any that relates to the matter. At least not to my knowledge. Here are some photos of my humble collection of those ribbon bars. In the future, I will also post some more photos which I collected on the internet.
    8. That's an interesting one. It looks like it's Soviet. I guess that's one of the reason they didn't accept it.
    9. Ah yes, I stand corrected. I don't know why I typed Laurel Wreath when there isn't one around the center. I must have had something else on my mind while I was typing this haha.
    10. Found this interesting picture of a prototype of the Laurel Wreath class of this order. Unfortunately I couldn't find a larger one.
    11. Astonishing! I can't belive it's the real deal.
    12. Very nice photos Igor! I love the quality of the photo of Prince.
    13. Mystery solved! Talked to my grandpa and he said that they wore them on two buttons barrel cuff sleeves, so the regular, every day shirts. He told me that there were no specific regulations and that they didn't have to wear them every day. He wore them whenever he wanted. He said that there was a problem with cufflinks when they were at work because they would often bump into a table and get stuck on its edge, so most of the guys didn't wear them regularly. He told me a story of one officer who had ripped his shirt sleeve because of cufflinks.
    14. You've got some incredible collections guys. Thanks for sharing!
    15. Great job Radmilo! Maybe it will be good to run this list through a good cyrillic to latin converter for the people who don't know cyrillic.
    16. This is amazing. The research and info available on those pieces are astonishing.
    17. I haven't really thought about this to be honest. Now I'm wondering the same thing. I will try to do some research on this matter and hopefully find some answers and post them here.
    18. From this point of view it really looks like it's black but it's probably dark green like other branches. I guess the JNA pieces are for gala uniforms and special occasions and dark green for Army, dark blue for Navy and light blue for Air Force are for every day work.
    19. Yes, biologist-chemist had green background. I haven't seen any with red background yet. The Artillery pieces that you saw could be black because Kingdom of Yugoslavia and early Socialist Yugoslavi ranks had black color for artillery so that may be an early piece.
    20. Yes. So far I've seen most of the regular Air Force, Navy and Army cufflinks. As for the branches of service, the only ones I've seen online were pharmacy, supply, parachutist, law, avio-technician and nuclear biologist-chemist if my notes are correct.
    21. Thank you Paja! I've seen some branches of service on ebay so I'm guessing every branch had those. I've even seen some military schools had their own cufflinks. Certainly an interesting part of militaria for collecting.
