    1. Fellow members and researchers, What do you think about this saxonian ribbon bar ? Is it an original? I don't see any long service awards and this guy lived until 1934 at least. Could someone look in his Schwarzburg/ Hohenzollern awards rolls to to search for an possible ID please? Thank you very much, Nicolas
    2. Generalleutnant Oskar van Ginkel Born: 18.12.1882 Died: 14.12.1949 Kommandant Rückwärtiges Armeegebiet 583 Kommandant Nord Kurland
    3. Does anyone recognize anyone? I ID'd Schönborn ( Brigadeführer top left) Generalleutnant van Ginkel (bottom centre) and Karl Fiehler (in the centre) Nicolas
    4. I am not so sure anymore. They look quite similar but they are even pre war differences on the 2 bars
    5. Could this be the bar of the same man? (Not mine) The owner was Oberstleutnant Karl Schumann Commander of FAR 46 Nicolas
    6. I thought of getting a member in the DGfO to get a magazine every 2 months. Does anyone know if you can also get the old magazines from 1999 until now, when you're a member? Thanks Nicolas
    7. Sorry, but I have to ask one question As this a prewar bar, do,you think he held a position in the wehrmacht maybe as a Major- Colonel or POW Commander?
    8. https://www.philipp-militaria.com/artikel/Reichsarbeitsdienst-RAD-Feldbluse-eines-Oberstarbeitsfuehrers-1299076301.html Could this be the tunic of Oberstarbeitsführer Herbert Müller (XXX) ?
    9. Thanks alot. There is more to come Strange, I did not see it until now Maybe the photographer told them to stand like this.
    10. Hello, Recently, I got a bunch of postcards with chinese motives around 1904/5. On the back of these cards is almost always a stamp: Ostas(iatische) Bes(atzungs) Brigade. The men (2-3), who send these cards were obviously in the German Schutztruppen in China I want to show you every card I have, front and back. A small description to every card will be done by me. There are maybe about 30 cards, so a translation of every card is maybe a bit ignorant, but a few examples would be very nice. At the end, a value of these cards would be great, because I do know nothing about Postcards in general. I know, talking about values is always a bit inappropiate, but I would really appreciate it. Nicolas By the way, how can I attach 2 pictures in one post? I do not want to post 1 card in 2 posts? The title of this card is "Englische Wache" (English Guards). Tientsin(Tianjin) is a harbor city near Peking(Bejing)
    11. Oh, Youre righ't. I did not see the middle blue stripe on a medal bar I found the ribbon on and thought it would be the same one than mine
    12. I am quite sure by now that the last ribbon on 7 piece bar is the Schwarzburg Sonderhausen Honor Cross 3.Class upwards. A rare award. That would make a look after an Identification worth looking. I feel bad for not helping in the Identification, but I dont have the money for Dienstalterslisten.
