    1. The Order of Falcon or Štefaníks Order was established in 1918 by General Štefaník to award the officers-legionnaires in Russia. In the obverse of the order we can see three falcons over the hills. The image of the order is a five-raised star. The idea was to exist in five classes like in the Order of Honour-France ,but it was not realised,so we have only the lowest grade-Knight.Diameter of order is 4 cm,made from bronze, white and blue enameled. There are 3 versions concerning of the production of the order. 1.Production Tokio-Japan 1918 -the orders were issued in etuis from balsa wood. 2.Production Prague 1920 3.Production Prague 1945 There are some tiny differeces between these versions. Two types of the order exist. I.The order with swords. II.The order without swords. There are no swords over the star. This type is more interesting for collectors. It occurs less than type with swords. These two orders are from my collection and the miniature ,too, but I stole the photo of the certificate of the order from the internet.I have not had any certificate in my collection since. The photos of the orders I made a long time ago by any occassions,so they are differet in sizes.
    2. I also have found the photo of the reverse of the VDNKh medals.I want to ask for the better photo of this medal.I have seen it for the first time.Obverse and reverse, please. Many thanks.
    3. I decided also to show some orders from my collection.Step by step, time by time I will introduce some awards to your attention. 1.2 X The Order of the October Revolution. Number 49832 is with an order book.It was awarded to Ekaterina Alexeevna Sokhanich. She was awarded also with Lenin Order, but I do not have it. The next Order of the October Revolution is number 63978. Orders are in exelent condition.
    4. Bill,I am sure your topics enrich the division. Thanks for showing.
    5. I got some information about Nikolaj Mikhailovich Orekhov. He served in the Far East and participated war with Japan.
    6. This is the topic without the photos of the Hungarian awards,so I decided to add some.Hoping nobody will delete them as previous ones. Next pictures.
    7. The gold medal did not belong my father. He was not awarded with this medal.Simply, I added the medal to the collection. It is in a nice condition.
    8. I have found some Hungarian awards ,period Horty. They will be for sale, but I do not know when.So they are just now only for showing. Next pictures with the miniatures. I had to wait for a while.
    9. I will add my Vitez Rend-in the midlle.Remember in the past I had many nice Hungarian awards from this period.
    10. Probably the strange name for the order ,when we cannot see any flag in the design, but only a red enameled star with a smaller goldener one in the midlle. The title of the order is because of the red ribbon.Dimensions of the enameled star-45mm,gold one -23mm.The order was made from gilted silver, mark 925. It was established in 8.2.1955 and was awarded for extraordinary activity in defence of the homeland but also for the personal bravery in face of the enemy. Also foreigners were awarded with this order.About 500 deorations were bestowed, but I do not know the exact number. There were two versions of the order.I have never seen the first type to 1960.Of course I have never had it in my collection ,too. Two orders I am showing in the topic are from my collection.Number 265 .General-lieutenant Josef Kováčík was awarded with this order in 1971.Prague Mint Zukov is a producer of the order. Probably in the early 80ies of the 20th century, the production of the orders was moved to Kremnica.I also have the Kremnica Mint version, number 460.This order was awarded to Lieutenant-Colonel Ján Hanulík.Ján Hanulík was an extraordinary personality a main armourer in the 1st Czechoslovak Corps of General Svoboda. I do not have very good photos of this order but I hope I will do them better when I make some topics-e.g.Military complets of Chechoslovak officers.
    11. There are not many North Vietnam awards in this division,so I am trying to fill space. Here you are-the 1st version.
    12. I am sorry for making the mistake. The correct number of the Star in the case is 9430.
    13. Dear collegues, I would like to introduce to your attention one of my favourite Czechoslovak awards-Decoratin For Bravery-vyznamenanie Za statočnosť. It was established in 1951 to award for exeptional deeds of courage, valour and heroism in peaceful time.1504 decoration were awarded.Mostly policemen-príslušníci VB,board guards, soldiers, mine rescuers, doctors were obtainig this decoration.I am going to show you some medals with certificates from my collection. 1st version-type ČSR.Only 362 decoratinos by the archives were awarded. In the front side of medal we can see two branches: lime and laurel together and sign-ČSR Medal is made from silver, marks are in the ridge of the medal. The medal n.306 was awarded in 1958 to a board guard Július Varga for extraordinary valour and courage. That we can read from the certificate. 2nd version type ČSSR. We can see the decoration n.1470 awarded to a a second lieutenant Miroslav Staník,who saved a life to a young man with the risk of his own.The award is from 1985 year. I will add some more photograps of the cases and the medals numberred-281,1001 and 1088.
    14. All orders are from my collection. It is not difficult to find out the awarded people from the Archives in the site vyznamenani.net.All orders have the numbers. In the end I am adding the foto of the etuis.
    15. In my opinion some Czechoslovak awards deserve their topic in this division.Among them surely belongs Order of Republic.Only 863 decorations was awarded during nearly 40 years.Only 4 socialist countries have the order with this name-Bulgaria,Yugoslavia, Tuva and Czechoslovakia. Awarded: For extraordinary merit in building of the Czechoslovak Republic, especially in production, cultural or scientific activities; or for strenghtening of the defensive capabilities of the country. Many famous persons we can find among the awarded, also cities,enterprices-companies,military units,organizations,newspapers... There were 3 versions of the order. Design of the 1 st version is very similar to the Soviet Order of the Flag of Labour.Look at the obverse.Dimensions 4x4,3cm.Order was made from silver. All Czechoslovak orders, nearly all awards were made from silver. The reverse has the initials ČSR. The design of the 2nd version has only one change in the reverse. There are initials ČSSR.That means-Československá socialitická republika. This version began using from 1961. The latest type came into being in 4.7.1977.The design changed from circle to a quadrate.Dimension-4x4x4x4cm.In the middle of the medallion of the order we can see the star with the state sign. In the reverse we can see the number of the award ,the carat-marks. The order finished its existence in the end of 1989.
    16. My Patriotic Medals.I think I have just found a good place for them.
    17. It is my tiny contribution to this division.Sorry, for adding the North Korea order. All were produced in the USSR. I remember having some more Mongolian medals awarded to Czechoslovak citizens. But they changed the owner.I stopped being their owner.
    18. Simply,I decided to activate the topic. Not too many of these medals are exibited for showing or discussing.I also had some time ago this medal on the earlier suspension, but it was a fake.
    19. Many thanks for your answer-opinion and link. There is a small difference in the last mark.
