    1. Hi Gents, hi GreyC, i've picked up a postcard showing one of these prints I have. I wonder if you can tell any more from the details on the back please? The print is actually the 'smaller' picture. I expected the the way round. It has a different ratio. Although physically larger the image is cropped left and right. An extra bit on the postcard each end. while I'm here..... cheers Gents hope you like tony

    3. Hi Prem just found this matches... I would presume this is your plate in wear. It doesn't mention size in my book and 8cm is smaller, slightly, than a different shako plate I have. However, shako varied in height. I think with the help of any Gent who might know the height/size of this design ( ? ) it should be simple to confirm or disprove. Nice piece either way tony

    6. Hi The Prussian and Bayern... i love buying this type of thing. I've bought so many joblots of badges just because I spot one that has a number or an H or cannon etc. Certainly if as this it has 1918 and initials if deserves more! Did you learn any more of this or has it stumped everyone? even the GMIC? Bayern and yourself have often been there for me and I thank you... best wishes tony
