Another beautiful diploma for the CdG. I think it's 1917 I hope to have a nice framed one in a week or so... All depends on the postal service.

His cap looks silk or cotton. I very much like the photo and would love to own a nice issue gefreiter or NCO tunic. -

Hello guys, can this medal bar be ID'd? Just winding as the combination of the Württemberg orders and the Oldenburg medals may give evidence to the owner. I find this a very interesting bar/group

Impressive to say the least. Those are top quality docs i looked at my CdG in Silver and it does have the mark. Hard to see and harder to photograph. Hopefully it's viewable.

I don't see a punch on the cross under the suspension ball. It's very ornate in this area but I don't make out any marks. I haven't seen a mark on other areas but not sure the French ever marked crosses anywhere else. ill ll try to take better photos

Yeah, seems like mean averaging 68-72 inches tall with extreme narrowness frame. Many are 32-34" chest and the caps won't fit on most 12-13 year old boys these days. May General Pohlmann uniform is rather slim but I estimate he was about 6 foot tall. My Seebatalion tunic isn't large in shoulders but rather large in the waste so I can't tell if he was overweight or barrel chested.

it's a beautiful merit medal awarded during WW1 to a German. The more I study the less I understand awarding of medals and orders rom Turkey to Germans.

Chip looks like a cross between Clint Eastwood and Flip Wilson to me. He ain't really that old. Only 13-14 years older than me and I'm not old. the only tunics that ever come close to fitting me were a few WW2. You have to be a thin man IMO.
