    1. Hi Rick Thanks, and so quick!! I am guessing his RAO4 was for his 50 years service. He got the RAO3S at his pension, as per some prussian Forstmagazine I downloaded earlier this afternoon. Where did you find these exact dates?
    2. Hi I have been looking for a Oberförster Schaefer in Kulik for....well quite some time. Purely by chance I found out that his name was pronounced Schaefer but written Schefer. the place he worked was written Kullick in stead of Kulik. I know he got a PROA4 and a PROA3mSchl at his pensioning somewhere in the mid 1890's. I am wondering if he is in one of the DOA's 1904/5 or 1908/9. I dont know his firstname, but I guess Schefer with one f is not that common. A scan would be nice, when available. regards David
    3. again, Dave, that is great work! I do wonder why he is not in the Stammliste of the 3 JB though. In the meantime I tried and found someone whome I think may be descended form Wilhelm Müller-Hillebrand. Contacted him and lets see what comes out. bye for now and thanks again! D.
    4. Hi I am looking for the career of a Secondelieutenant in the 3. brandenburgischen Jäger-Bataillon. His name was Johann Wilhelm Hildebrand Müller, born 1861 since 1902 Müller-Hillebrand, after his militairy career he stood in the forestry service and served as Forstmeister in Battenhausen. A deathdate on this guy is very apprciated, should it be locateable. He had a son/grandson of some fame I know of but am not interested in at the moment :-) who was a WM General. This data will be added to his entry in the MVM family history. He was a stephson of an aunt of Louis, the Crownprince aide de camp. hope one of you can help me out again. regards David
    5. Thanks Andy, as he was pensioned I and did not get anything else, there was no reason to get yet another entry for v. Marschall. I am already very happy to see the SEHO3b confirmed and the IV and III class of the ROA.
    6. Thta's to bad! Thanks for checking though and for the amazing obituary! Where did you find that? I checked googlebooks time and again to no avail...sent you am PM
    7. Good afternoon! Friedrich v. Marschall (d. 1910) held the SEHO3b (per the 1896 Prussian staatshandbuch I saw this morning) Would he be in the DOA as well? His last known function was (Ober)forstmeister. Friedrich v. Marschall married 1866 Elisabeth Müldner v. Mülnheim (d.1879) and 1886 her sister Adelheid (d. 1926). A scan would be appreciated! regards David
    8. Hi I am looking for an early officers career in the 4. westf. IR Nr 17. Should there be a Militairy History concerning the regiment in this period, I would like to get the scans mentioning the following person: † Theodor Müldner von Mülnheim, *Hanau 12.06.1817, † Marburg 05.01.1841, königl. preuss. Lt im 4. westf. IR Nr 17. Next to that, I would like to know in which rank he was (has he been a Fähnrich or so before his commission?) and in which company he stood in this Regt. This to be add in his entry in the familiy history book I am writing on the MvM's regards David
    9. And the greatgrandfather of Ernst-Günther was Ludwig Traugott Wentzel, who as Geheimer Seehandlungsrat recieved the CHGL3 in the 1820's. Although not ennobled himself, 2 of his sons and a grandson were, in 1859, 1880 (E-G's grandfather) and 1906 ( a day before the man in question, Oscar von Wentzel died as Kapt z. See and Chef des Adm-Stabes der marinestation der Ostsee) respectively. Thanks for putting together this great piece of information for me! regards David
    10. Hi Could anyone help me with finding the career and ODM of Ernst-Günter Theodor Adalbert v. Wentzel, 1909 a Lieutenant in the prussian DR11. regards David
    11. From some of his ODM I already know: he got the SCHLEkIV. He was in JB 7 for some time. Was being an officer in this bataillon enough to get a lippian decoration, or does it indicate something bigger/more?
    12. Hi could someone get me a scan of the entry in the DOA 1908/09 of the name Müldner von Mülnheim (it will say Georg) and Wyneken, Alexander. He is a newspaper publisher in Königsberg i.P.r Thanks a lot regards David
    13. Hi this morning I finally handed in the Reproduktionauftrag for some pages of the Wehrpass of Louis Müldner von Mülnheim, aude de camp to the prussian CP 1916-1918. When the copies come in, I will share the data on it regarding his promotions and ODM. regards David
    14. I can understand the dates are unknown, I would like to know if the Förster had been an officer in 1871
    15. Hi I have the following details on a man whose first name I am not able to find: My interest is based on the fact that he married an aunt of the persönlicher Adjutant des letzten Deutschen Kronprinzen: Major LACO Müldner von Mülnheim, Agnes Julia Elisabeth MvM (1843-1881) on an unknown date and divorced her in 1877. Basically what I am hoping for is the date for his AAB3a and a possible entry in any kind of militairy career. Would he be ranked an officer (probably in 1871)? NN Schäffer PROA4;EK2;AAB3a (STB1896 S. 825) in Kladow (Ostpreussen), mit LD2 und EK2 (STB 1882 S. 244) 1890 als Oberförster ebd genannt (Jahrbuch der preussischen Forst- und Jagd-Gesetzgebung und Verwaltung S. 122), dann 1892 Mit der Titel Forstmeister mit dem Range der Räte IV. Klasse versehem (Deutsche Forst-Zeitung 1892 S. 517) ovl. 1899-1900 (laut Schlesisches Forstvereins J. 1900 S. 9) Schäfer zu Sorau 1892 Mit der Titel Forstmeister mit dem Range der Räte IV. Klasse versehem (Deutsche Forst-Zeitung 1892 S. 517) Thanks in advance David
    16. As seen my luck with the SStH3, I am also trying to get the exact date for the award of the MMJO in 1805 to Wilhelm Carl freiherr v. Haynau. I would like to know the source as well :-) thanks a lot David
    17. Where would I find these? They are listed in the Hof und StaatsSchematismus, but without the date.
    18. Hi Is there a book on the history and the knights of the order of St,. Henry? I am looking for an entry from the 1813 War, Frhr v. Lützerode. I would like to know why and on what date he received the award. I checked the Staatshandbuch for Sachsen but it only gives a year. David
    19. The Anhalt Order of the Bear and the Churhessian House Order of the Golden Lion. The liste Militairy Merit Cross 1st Class (Hessen-Kassel) does not exist by the way
    20. Thanks for that. Unfortunately, my cyrillic is not wat it used to be so I really appreciate your help. To bad his AAB1 is not listed, so I am not sure all his foreign awards are listed....Nor the CHGL1 he got
