    7. Thanks guys. It's allways nice to get some opinions, good or bad. The M-42 is a no decal Heer. The other helmet are allso finished, I have posted it in the KM section. It turned out to be a double decal KM reissue. All the best Snoopy
    8. Hello Otis That's a great find. It,s getting difficult to find any signalpatronen in their original boxes. I have never seen a box with a navy eagle. Whery nice. All the best Snoopy
    9. I actually do not think that the black stain, is blood. I have seen this discoloration in other leather liners allso. It might perhaps be sweat. None of the bullets went through, and only one of the bullets have created a crack. I believe that they have probably used a revolver with lead bullets. It does not look like the work of a full metal jacket. It was not uncommon to use german helmets, for target practice. All the best Snoopy

    12. Thank's. I will try to check the batch number, regarding the year of manufacture. The liner band is dated 1943. All the best Snoopy
    13. Hello I am going to bore you again, with one of my paint stripping projects. This time it's the M-35. The yellow paint was very easy to remove, so I did not damage any of the original paint, and decals. I believe that it is a double decal KM. It has an apple green finish. It was later overpainted in a darker green, that allso covered the decals. The darker paint coat is very worn and flaky. Some of the eagle is showing, and most of the national shield. The paint that covered the eagle appears to be thicker, than on the national shield. I am very pleased with the result. I hope that you like it too. All the best Snoopy
