This is a M-35 helmet relic, that I allmost gave away for free, because I thought that it was in to bad a condition. Luckily, I never did, because the helmet has grown on me. It is camouflaged in brown and green, and has traces of winther camouflage. It was found in Norway, and I bought it very cheap, in an antique shop. Snoopy

Hello Eric I hope that someone can correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that the panzer/skull pin, is the panzer badge for the Legion Condor volunteers, in the spanish civil war. All the best Snoopy

Soviet Question about branch patches
Snoopy replied to Snoopy's topic in USSR: Soviet: Other Militaria
Hello Rick Wow, thank you very much. That's great. All the best Snoopy -
Strange colours, but they are original. It allmost looks like some kind of camouflage. The original paint scheme is worn, but I decided that it looked better in it's original colours, than covered in thick norwegian army green. I have personally removed a couple of layers of postwar norwegian NATO green from the box, and these are the colours and markings that I uncovered. Believe me, when I say that it was a messy, and smelly undertaking. My wife was not very happy about it.

Soviet Question about branch patches
Snoopy replied to Snoopy's topic in USSR: Soviet: Other Militaria
This is my humble collection, of soviet branch patches. Does anyone know how many different branch patches, that exist? I would like to complete my collection. I know that I need at least ten more, and then i am not talking about the navy patches. All the best Snoopy -
Hi Lorenzo What kind of missile is that? It looks to small, to be a Scud. Snoopy

Wow, that's a great set. I have never seen that one before. Hmmmmm, I must admit that I have not seen much at all, since I am new to this collecting field. Snoopy -

You are right. The document seems to need a soviet style star, over the text, or something similar. Snoopy -

That's a nice document. What does the front of the document look like? Is it similar to the soviet douments? All the best Snoopy -
Another flea market find. I am not shure, if this flash light, is from the Marshall help, or if it is more modern. I can't find a date on the flash light, but as a lot of the US items, that surface in Norway, used to belong to these post war shipments, of war surplus, I decided to include it. If anyone has any thoughts, or knowledge about the age of the light, please let me know. The flash light has a Coast Guard approval marking, and it looks like it is made from some sort of bakelite material. Snoopy
