    1. Hi I really like this thread. I only have a few roman coins, but nothing like what you have in your collections. Isn't it fascinating to be able to hold something thats nearly 2000 years old? It really gets my imagination going. Excellent spear and arrow head you have there, Paul. Snoopy
    2. The list on the back of the tin, says "Coffeingeg?lt etwa 0,15%". I don't know if it containes the same percentage, in the current chocolate. Snoopy
    3. Hello This is mine, and a paper label, from a package of tins, I believe. Snoopy
    4. Hello Otis Interesting seat, and in good condition too. I have checked some of my reference books, but I haven't found it yet. Is it possible that it is of italian origin? The luftwaffe used a lot of italian aircraft after 1943. Have you found any markings on the seat? Snoopy
    5. Hello Otis The label on the cardboard box, says that it's for zielkarten. My german isn't very good, so I have allways thaught that it was for some sort of target map, but I guess that it could allso be a document holder. Maybe you could post a photo of yours? Snoopy
    6. Hello I believe that I read somewere that these coveralls was originally intended for naval gun crews. Is that correct? Snoopy
    7. Hello Very nice photo. I have never seen collar tabs like that before. It must have been a colourful tunic. Snoopy
    8. Hello I don't have any period photos of it in use, but if anyone have, I would very much like to see them. Snoopy
    9. Hello Jan Arne Glad you like it. Snoopy
    10. Hello I really hope that they didn't use the bajonett for the M98k, as a surgical instrument. Snoopy
    11. Hello It looks like the one piece work uniform, or aircraft mechanics uniform, as it's allso called. I have allso seen this uniform being worn by flak gunners, and soldiers on several other work duties. The photo below is actually from a flak regiment. I tried to make a close up of a photo that I have in my collection. The photo shows them on what looks like farm duty. Snoopy
    12. Magazine pouches for the Mp 40. They are not originally a pair, hence the colour difference. Snoopy
    13. Hi Paul Honestly, I don't know if it's just a primer, or if it's some kind of colour coding. I know that they used to paint their bombs with different colours, to show what kind of bomb it was. I must admit that the shade of red on my bomb, matches the primer red. The colour can allso have changed a bit over the years. Snoopy
    14. Hello again This is a photo of the interior of the pistol holster. The holster has a luftwaffe approval stamp on the outside of the flap. Snoopy
    15. Hi Paul I like this book very much. The book has 430 pages. It covers allmost everything you need to know about the subject. The book has seperate chapters for Heer, Kriegsmarine and Luftwaffe. The chapter about the Luftwaffe covers both aircrew and fallschirmj?ger. My book used to belong to the Kriegsmarine. It has several Kriegsmarine ink stamps. The three most interesting is "Marine lazarett Stralsund", "Admiral Norwegen" and "Kommandant Seeverteidigung Kristiansand S?d". Regards Snoopy
    16. Hello This is the rear end of a german aircraft bomb. It has original red paint, and a waffenamt marking. Does anyone know what the red colour means. Is it meant to be attached to a practice bomb? Snoopy
    17. Hello This is my artillery optical sights "Rundblikk fernrohr". From left, it's a Rbl.f 32, then comes two Rbl.f 16. It looks like the last two has slightly different methods of attachment. On the reverse of the Rbl.f 32, there is a marking, that states that it is for the 21 cm. Mrs 18. If anyone has any additional information, I would be grateful. I would especially like to know, on what type of weapons they were used. Snoopy
    18. Hello This is my deactivated Mp 40. Snoopy
    19. Hello This is my attempt, at a close up of the leather gear. Snoopy
    20. Hello Very nice items. Snoopy
    21. Hi Paul I will take a picture of the leather gear tomorrow. Snoopy
