    1. A beautiful start! Really looking forward to more updates!
    2. Still a very interesting an attractive piece Sergio! I hadn't seen it before.
    3. Woa... Now that I see it in relation to a belt buckle and buttons, it's about 1/2 the size I expected it to be... It's actually small enough to be a mere lapel pin.
    4. Nicholas II cipher... But apart from that... A bit out of my comfort zone. A souvenir from the coronation? A military insignia? What are the dimensions? Small enough for a lapel pin? Big enough for a cap badge?
    5. Could it possibly be this as Megan suggested? http://gmic.co.uk/index.php/gallery/image/4151-belgique-medaille-de-la-resistance-1940-1945/
    6. I saw it on the uniform of 2 serving Russian admirals... It's driving me nuts that I can't find those photos again.
    7. Are you sure it's Belgian? I can't find anything even resembling that in the ribbon chart for Belgium.
    8. Yes indeed... Anything to declare?
    9. From my personal stuff: Würtemberg leutnant's epaulets, EK1, veterans' association medal (Could'Ve called it "fiddling with PhotoShop")

    16. My son William at the French Air & Space museum at Le Bourget. July 2013. He is quite intent on pursuing an air force career, hence the title of the shot.

    17. Wow! I can't wait to see the paint go on!
    18. I recently acquired this item "Honoured Submariner of Russia", I've found photos of Russian officers and sailors wearing them on their military uniform (yes, I 'm aware that usually doesn't mean much), but can't find the establishment order. Considering who wears it, from what ribbon it hangs, where it is worn and the significance of the award title, I would be incredibly surprised to discover this was a public award of one dished out by a fleet commander... Can anybody shed some light on the matter?
    19. Not snowing yet... So far so good...
