    2. Hi, While describing history of this gas mask canister (on the left) I've noticed that the paint color looks strange. Is it possible that it's in fact Navy paint? Unfortunatelly I don't have any green painted canister to compare it with this item but on the photo you can see canister in Luftwaffe paint (on the right). So I'd like to hear your's opinions in this matter. Secondly, this item ended it's service in hands on this men below. What does mean this last writing after "I Zug"? Is it Reichswehr eagle in the left corner? That's a lot of questions, hope you'll be able to help me. Best regards and thanks in advance.
    3. Hi, I'm wondering if this is WWII stuff or just postwar item. How to distuingish them? Best regards

    7. Hi, Contemplating set of SS Fjg Btln 600 photos from Oderfront I've noticed this person behind comander of SS Jagdverband Mitte F u c k e r (in white camo jacket). Apparently he'e expressing his respect to the first soldier in the row. Could this be Leifheit from this SS Fjg unit? I'm also thinking about Scheu who was comander of 1 company that defended Grabow that day. BTW does anyone know what was written below this photo? It starts with: ,,Diese sechs Manner zwangen sechzehn Panzer. .... (?)" Thanks a lot for any help. fanatyk6

    10. Hi, Paddy I've found your's post here -> http://www.feldgrau.net/forum/viewtopic.ph...dt&start=15 concerning SS FJG reconaissance in Bad Schonfliess (also participation of members Jagdverband Mitte with O.Skorzeny). Apart from the fact that it probably took place on the 2th of February not on the 9th, I'm curious about fights in Bad Schonfliess. Where did you find info about killing soviet tank crew by SS FJG small arms fire (vets memories?)? Is there any other information about this action? I've read about this raid in Skorzeny books (Wir k?mpften, wir verloren and Meine Kommandounternehmen) as well as in K. Speer in K?nigsberger Heimatzeitung nr 12/60 and 1/61 and there was no info about any fight in Bad Schonfliess. Best regards

    12. Hi, I've recently saw this parachute offered as a oryginal US item from WW II. Seller calims it's a ,,technical" parachute whatever it means. Is it true? For what purposes it was used?
    13. I've always thought that smal letters indicate weapon related stuff. Is this patch the same size as medic pouch part?
    14. Hi, In the net I've found that it's an non - members of the armed forces armband. But one thing is weird. My armband bears "Reichspostdienst Schwerin Mecklenburg" stamp. Was it normal to issue does instead of the other insygnia for postal workers? Is it possible it was used by Volkssturm? Best regards, Tom
    15. Hello, on my attic I've found this item. It looks a bit like a patch. Could you tell me what it was used for? Dimensions: 7 cm x 11 cm; epf 1942 WA 195.
