    1. Dear Lord! That is a beautiful collection! If you need help sorting please give me a ring! I love the converted EKII's! Regards, Joel
    2. Rick, Thank you for the valuable information my friend! It is an interesting piece although a little rough. What makes these interesting is, although Germany was unified in 1870, the States still had their own Orders and a way of arranging them. Now, I need to find a few more. Regards, Joel
    3. Ian, After futher review, I took a gander in Brian L. Davis', Badges and Insignia of the Third Reich and the collar tabs may be for a Wachtmeister or Oberwachtmeister of the Reich Autobahn Polizei. Unfortunately, can't decipher the color bordering his Shoulder straps... A shot in the dark...
    4. Ian, I look forward to seeing your other pictures. That is certainly interesting. Regards, Joel
    5. I think it's time to invest in a better camera or even one of Rick's Epson Scanners.. Absolutely horrible pictures If I say so myself.. Joel
    6. Interesting picture. My thoughts?? I believe it to be a combination of the age of the slide and the possibility of the sun shining directly on the white bars giving the illusion of them as being gold. Unless, they were custom tailored and against regulation given his rank? Regards, Joel
    7. Gentlemen, Thanks for your comments! Paul, I actually purchased this one on Ebay.. Got lucky I guess.. Regards, Joel
    8. Gents, Happy to report that the newest addition to my medal bar collection (now two) has arrived from Germany. It is just like my first in the sense of having a Seven Weeks War veteran but this guy was on the winning side. The other I have has the Nassau Award, in the place of the Bavarian Cross. Interesting to note: that the order of precidence on my other Bar has the Kaiser Centennial medal last and here it is second? Need Help Guys.. Regards, Joel
    9. Field Modified Grand Cross from a Senior Officer who re-awarded it as as an EKII? I know I'm reaching here! Regards, Joel
    10. Joe, I am with you!!! Sheer Beauties!!!!

    17. Miguel, I must say this is a difficult hersteller mark to decipher... Too worn or was just lightly stamped at the time of manufacture. Joel
    18. Richard, You display case is fabulous! It really "Showcases" your collection. Well Done!
    19. Man, It is even hard to add my lonely EKII with a mm "Y" I feel weak and pathetic against the heavy hitting collectors... I shall retreat back into my cave and figure out the next best militaria conquest...
    20. 1903 Springfield was a hard hitter as well! Well balanced and hit at pretty great distances!
