    1. A very nice award document from Brunswick , what I can find out there was at least two German soldiers killed in WW1 named Jago . Heinrich Jago KIA 5.11.16 and Karl Jago 27.3.15 probably Auguste was married to one of them Christer

Ouch these ribbon bars seems to live forever , after a time they reappear in new boxes and often with some extras , like shoulder boards some blurry pics , without connection at all to the bar or maybe a seal with initials .... I´m just waiting for the shocking truth, about the former owner of this bar

    5. Here is a survivor from the 800 man strong volunteer force who fought in the Finnish Liberty War 1918 Hes name is Paulus Drewes and the photo is from 1921. He was awarded Swedish North Star Order Knight , Swedish Vasa Order Knight , Danish Dannebrog Order Knight , Norway S:t Olav Order Knight , Finnish White Rose Order Knight , Finnish Liberty Cross 3rd class wo Swords. The last medal was only awarded to 29 Swedish if my info is right. Christer
    6. This came in today , not full of Top Notch Orders but still I think its nice , specially with the makers label on back. Does anyone know which Saxon Regiments who was on the Austrian front ? I suppose the Austrian /Hungary / Tirol combo peaks at that way ? Christer

Here is a couple of more Swedish soldier from 1900-1910 approx I think these two are Hussars from K 7 The Crown Prince Hussars 1757-1927 Very nice uniforms in those days The second two are also Hussars , the left one I believe is from K 1 1806-1927 and the other soldier on the right is probably from K 5 Christer
    15. He he , Chris I think the man making the uniforms in those days looked a lot at German uniforms Even our model 1939 looks very much like a German one (sometimes used by fakers ...) Christer
    16. Here is mine , strangely I don´t have any Hamburg bars ..... A goal for 2013 !! First out Bremen and then Lübeck with a ribbon bar , and last one wich I showed here before but still unnamed .... I have one !! guy who got this and nothing more so far , but I can´t be sure that its him ... Christer

Hi Jeff , I think I got him Gefr Anton Heinzl from Landsturm Infanterie Batallion Landshut The BMVK II X is dated Oct 6 1917 but I think there was often a time between award date and Award recieved. He was in Reserve Inf Rgt 12 earlier and 2 Sept - 24 Sept 1915 he was in Feld Lazarett Passau , later 14 Nov 1917 to % Dec 1917 in Feld Lazarett 95.
    21. Just got this photo in the mail It has some writing on the backside and if I read it right ? Photo shows Major Ehrhardt Rgt Kom Res Inf Rgt 76 ?? 24 Nov 1916 he has EK II , EK I and ?? What do you think ? Christer
    22. Hi Jeff , What Regiment was he in ? I cant read it on the award doc you scanned, I think I can find his war record I found just three soldiers with that name so far Christer
