    1. The webbsite that was selling them had items very poorly pictured! Because of this, I was able to get them for a great price. It was John Temple who told me that just because the photo was bad, dont discount the item all together! Thanks John!!
    2. Here is a set that I have been waiting on for a couple of months!!! A set of Construction EM tabs!!
    3. Very nice... and congrats! Especially on the set of books!!! Together, we will get all of the LW tabs!!! Paul
    4. I think that Military Justice would be most fitting from the pics I see. You will need to post some clear scans when you get them in your hands... regardless of which of the three you have... they are all pretty darn rare! Paul
    5. I agree with Bob. This the the first bar with these medals I have seen that is without the HK! Nice find!
    6. Hi Larry, Based on the lighting, it would appear that they seem to be more of a Carmine for Veterinarian/General Staff. I think that these tabs are for vetrinarians as the General Staff Officers used a different collar tab construction. I will post a pic later. Regards PAul
    7. Very impressive Robin!!! You must be the King of these insignia!! I have never seen so many in one shot!!!
    8. Welcome to the GMIC! Thank you for sharing your wonderful collection! I would love to see some close ups of your Luftwaffe tunic! Regards Paul
    9. I have never seen a completely documented grouping like this!!! Nice find!
    10. That is one I have not yet been able to find for my collection. Very nice example.
    11. I would love to see your favorite DDR tunic! Mine favorite belong to the Border Guard Aviation!
    12. While I have seen badges from varying services on tunics, I have never seen a "repeat" badge award. For example, I have seen Heer badges on Luftwaffe tunics. I have never seen or heard of evidence of members wearing badges for the same thing on their tunic at the same time. Maybe this veteran was placing every badge he was ever awarded on that ribbon bar. Perhaps he was awarded the Heer Flak badge and was assigned to the LW where he would have been allowed to wear the Heer badge until he qualified for the Luftwaffe badge. Just a theory.
    13. Thank you for the link and the addition information. Your collection is very very impressive. Lets Keep the Stasi stuff coming!
    14. ehrentitle, Thank you for your compliment! I bet you have some great stuff! Larry, Thank you for posting your insignia. Those boards are great! I believe that the Cheveron indicates longivity in the service. All branches wore this. Regards Paul
    15. Now, lets see yours! Please post ANYTHING Stasi you may have in your collection!
    16. On top of WW2 German tunics, I enjoy collecting East German four pocket Parade tunics. Here are a couple of Officer tunics!
    17. That is a bummer! I was hoping to find some example someday! Are these made of solid gold?
    18. I do not have one of these orders... yet. Are they made of gold like their Soviet counterparts? Paul
