I had a quick question about the display of visors, is it ok to leave them down resting on the actual visor part? My thoughts are in the same vein as the 'Haubes, I dont want the weight and gravity to eventually take the visor part off or loosen it. So should I have it up or is it ok to leave it resting on its bill? TIA and all the best, Jon

I got this in today all the way from Germany, I purchased it from Micha (Motorhead) I love the character the damaged wings give it! One wing is bent and the other has been knocked off, I almost think this was due to some sort of hit in the field because of the way the wing is knocked in and the other wing isnt not a clean sever. I also have a badge book that has period photos of Germans wearing 'battle damaged' awards. Hope you enjoy it! Im happy and will take pics this weekend when it is awarded to my mannequin! I havent bought a piece of militaria since I moved out and went to college(amazing how the money is quickly gone to things that are needed such as food and milk when your out on your own. ) I went to the gun show and picked this up for 10 bucks. I was shocked and its NOT a copy, I was like wow, Ive not been able to get a vehicle picture/postcard because they tend to be expensive but here is a SS postcard, with a armored car in what looks like North Afrika with black SS uniforms and cuff titles, I couldnt pass it up. This is why if one of us or any vet allows someone to take pics of his items they need to be in direct supervision of the process. And I agree, too bad the days of lynch mobs are gone...I think theyd be a good end for people like this. All the best, Jon
