Here's a bar in reverse order...

Approximately 90mm/3.5 inches wide, 4 prong reverse. I believe this is a Spanish Nationalist wing from the SCW era. Is this a cap badge? Comments welcome!

I spotted this on the web: A Spanish postcard with what appears to be a caricature of a German volunteer from the Spanish Civil War. Or perhaps I'm completely wrong? Opinions welcome.

I found this while surfing the web. My assumtion is a civilian or veteran commemortive medal of some sort. Anyone know for sure what it is?

I think your cross is authentic. I've seen the "P" mark under the hinge of other crosses deemed authentic on this forum, but I don't recall if there was an explanation for it. I think this forum's moderators are on holiday as I've not seen them comment in quite a while.

I'm trying to find some background on the medal shown below (the medal is not mine). I'm told it is the Hugarian Order of Merit with Swords. Is this correct? Was this ever awarded by Hungary to Germans during WWII? If so, are there any records of Germans it was awarded to? Does anyone have a full size medal they can post photos of the front and reverse? I tried a search, but didn't find any info on this specific award. Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks! :cheers:

I found photos of this J.Saz design MMI on the web. The design of the medal is almost identical to the J.Saz medal I posted earlier, except for the ribbon mounting. It has what appears to be a 1938-dated campaign bar mounted to the ribbon. I can't make out what the bar says -- does anyone know what it referrs to?

For what it's worth, here are some British cig cards from the early 1990s I bought already framed. Like Tom mentioned, a mat space was cut for each card then "sandwiched" with the cards between glass so you can view the back of the card if desired.
