Hey guys, Just got this one in the mail, Oldenburg FA Cross 1st Class. It is magnetic, with a slight vault to it, and I think it has the correct dished out reverse and pin and catch, for a wartime awarded cross? Would appreciate your guys opinion on this one, thanks! Kind Regards, Steve [attachmentid=37065]
Thanks guys, Appreciate the kind words, thanks! Dave, I'm not sure who owned this cross before coastie, whoever did took good care of it though! Micha, haha I still need to 'make the plunge' and get a screwback cross! Thanks for the pics of your cross Bill, and looking forward to your pics Jan Arne. Thanks guys, Kind Regards, Steve
Hi guys, Just got this one in today, a L/56 Funcke & Brueninghaus EK I in its LDO halbetui case. In pretty good shape, I'm pretty excited about it! Thanks guys, Kind Regards, Steve [attachmentid=35197] [attachmentid=35198]
I think the cased 50 Year Faithful Service is more scarce (I hesitate to use the word "rare" ) than it is usually given credit for. Good luck on your search sir! Kind Regards, Steve
Here's mine Wish I had a camera to take a better pic, but a scanner works for now. Still need some maker marked cases like yours though! Kind Regards, Steve [attachmentid=33306] [attachmentid=33305]
Hi Peter, Just got your cross' brother in the mail today! On the humps on other EK2s, I believe there are a few more makers that demonstrate this characteristic, but not quite sure which ones. Kind Regards, Steve [attachmentid=29150]
