    1. From the satiric magazine "JUGEND" from 1905. Only in German - sorry. Part 1 / 5:
    2. My tiny little contribution to this fantastic thread. This thread should be entitled for an Oscar!!!
    3. Is that your 08/15?
    4. Hi, I borrowed this pic of a makers mark from the book of Somers. Which maker was "RB"?
    5. I only have this one with a "Spangenst?ck" in gilt bronze without die-maker:
    6. Very nice to see some original and awarded medals in real gold.
    7. The inlay doesn't looks like for an EK2. There is even a gap in the middle for the pin and the hinge.

    10. I think thats normal for California, but not for Germany. They call it already the "summer of the century" here. Btw. I have a lot of material about shells, fuses etc. from WW1, but nearly nothing about shell cases and their size. If someone here is reading this, who has more informations, please let me know. I only have infos about the "basic" and most common types (Feldkanone, Haubitzen, M?rser etc.). Thanks!
    11. Still have to laugh about it. The "cooker" arrived btw. and it is really old but still interesting. As soon as the "Alte Armee" civilian section will habe a barber, I will give it to them. http://www.altearmee.org
    12. Of course you are absolutely NOT boring with your questions! Ask as much as possible, this is not the german "Militaria-Fundforum".
    13. Very interesting picture of the bavarian Telegraphen-officer! And thanks to Rick for showing the difference between the "Uffz-Litze" and the bavarian-Litze. I wonder which type of bayonet this officer is wearing. Very short and the scabbard looks strange too.
    14. Thanks for the tip and the link!
    15. 110 Fahrenheit? WOW! We have 100 here in Germany which is still too much.
