    1. this is a great jacket. Is this exactly the same cloth as soviet walk-out generals? the shoulderboards seem to be soviet ones with embroidery, it could be is an interesting point. are there leaves around the visor cap cockade or are they reserved to the parade uniform?
    2. gotcha! source: V.A. Borisov "nagrudniye znaki sovietskoi vooruzhenikh sil 1918-1991" table XVIII, nr119
    3. this is entirely right and the best way to conduct a debate and improve phaleristics science. But many collectors switched from Santa to a marvelous world where fakes don't exist... Russian fakers pushed all of those whose money is a too serious thing to waste to believe in every area that an order is supicious until the contrary is proved. All that said, I'm eager too to discover Anatoly's give-aways and the statistical sources quoted by Collectrussia.
    4. very rare and gorgous M1949 tank officer parade jacket. It is in perfetct condition although it had a real life and some wear traces. It is for a tank technician, hence the rare silver shoulderboards.
    5. I'm thinking of a big veteran or something commemorative badge, instead of an order (it is not in the official order nomenclature whatsoever)...
    6. maybe a stupid thought, but it looks like the back silver structure of the yougoslav communst hero of socialist labor... put the red stones, gold crown and a new center and that's done!
    7. hello Christian, your hypothesis could be correct... (PS: thanks to the moderator to have cleant and put my post at the right place )
    8. gentlemen, I need yours opinions. I have the opportunity to save a 3 orders group (brotherhood 2nd, merit to the people 3, bravery) all documented, with box and ribon, for one woman. Would it be a good set? I'm puzzled the person got the fraternity and bravery on the same date... many thanks, sebastien
    9. hello Walter, are groups (several awards to one person) of common orders common?
    10. if there's a big document like this, what does the small paper typed diploma stands for? (this picture is not mine nor the order; it is obly for example )
    11. I saw too a curious Red Banner screwback 2nd attribution, the KGB general uniform+visor cap, some admiral of the soviet union visor caps... There were gems, there were few crap, there were outpriced items (a romanian infantry officer cap presented as a securitate general visor) :banger:
    12. 50/50 Ed, to be honest. One of my source is globaly wrong (he isnt known); another one is very well known and expressed a precise opinion about "crabs"...
    13. gentlemen, have you considered the possibilty of too many fakes? some experts and trade mens considered this as a fact...
    14. thanks! I'de be happy to see one set for a SED congress delegate...
