      thanks for this traduction Rick; I'm annoyed if a guy like you didn't find such a badge. I was convinced it was a known case as there're plenty of different otlichnik badges. Comrade Baikov was a doctor; if it please you I can post more docs and the archival research. This man deserved a red banner, 2 red stars for trustworthy duty in miuitary hospitals.

      the red banner... compare with the Suvorov: the marking is larger, cruder. Mint mark on Suvorov appear extremly fine and ciseled, at my eyes this is really a surprise compared to more common orders.
