Hi Stefan! Welcome to the forum! I would really like to have this medal in my collection. I heard that this medal was given to foreigner partisans who participated in the WWII in Yugoslavia.
I was in that park in 2003. At that time there wasn't a lot of sculptures to see. Entrance was free at that time. I was in Moscow last year and they have arranged a small counter with entrance fees, so I decided not to go to the park. I noticed in your pictures that some new statues have been put in that park. Is it possible or my memory is not so good?
I'm also looking for one since a long time, but it seems this is the only book in English unfortunately. Here are some examples from that book. As you will see the information is very basic and the pictures are not very good. YUGOSLAVIA ARMY INSIGNIA & DECORATIONS 1918-1990
We have a winner! I guess I didn't ask my question properly, because at the qeustion #3, I was looking as an answer for the famous Volga that was made at the GAZ factory. However, I have shown pictures of the "Chaika". Christian, you just made an error on the bonus question. These pictures were made by Evgeny Khaldei. http://fotosoyuz.ru/ru/catalog/&frnepu...ntvat_pheCntr=2
Ok so it's my turn now. #1 In which industry were these pictures made? (Name and city) #2 Which orders did this industry received? #3 Which kind of cars were made in this industry? #4 What is the emblem from this car and why they choose that one? Bonus: Who made those pictures?
I know, I know !!! It is located in VDNKh (Exhibition of Achievements of the National Economy). It is the Space Pavilion. It is now called "Pavilion N. 32" It was build in 1966
To my knowledge these are not unfinished and they were awarded so. This was identified as a type III from the guy I bought it. There is really no way to say if this has been awarded or not.
I don't have the answer, but I find the question quit interesting as it's involve Moscow architecture. Now let's try to answer this puzzle. Is it a bridge?
