    5. Here is the Saarlandstrasse in Berlin from a 1943 map. The fighting was not so far from Potsdamer Platz and the Reichskanzlei from Hitler. http://www.alt-berlin.info/cgi/stp/lana.pl...p;ost=13.388395

    7. Yummy! Nice "salty" worn medal with a great story! Thanks for sharing your collection with us!
    8. Thank you William. I didn't know they were all unumbered.
    9. No but I should! I live in Montr?al in an Indo-Pakistani quarter. India is definitely in my travel list. It looks to be a so interesting country for me.
    10. Question : Are they all unumbered? Like this 3rd Class :
    11. And the Khorezm order !!! It seems this dealer is splitting a lot of groups in his auctions.
    12. I got my cloth ribbon bar from the same source as yours I guess.
    13. Interesting, no I didn't notice it. It seems the combinations from these "fruit salads" ribbon bars can be identically found somewhere else. For example, I found exactly the same 3 ribbon bars for sale than the one I posted in post #32.
    14. Neat little group! It seems the veteran liked to put his Leningrad medal in front of his medal for combat service, contary to the regulation. I think it is very nice that they are on a single bar. What is the type of suspension? Steel, aluminium? Is the CS medal from 1953? Concerning the stamp I cannot read the word on the right of the stamp. It is too small for me. I read something like : Leningrad central soviet deputy - comity Someone with better russian knowledge will help you better than me.
    15. If you just started with Yugoslavian orders, you might not want to stop right now!
    16. Thank you Ed for your very informative answer!
    17. Found on Internet : (it looks pretty cool) The former Lenin museum hosts a giant Lenin head. Nowadays the museum serves as a pool hall! http://www.connection.se/hem/anders/resor/lenin/ Ed, have you found other Lenin statues in Mongolia? Is this one still stands outside the Ulanbaatar hotel?
