    1. Yes, it is A1. It says active officers of flying, flak and signals. I failed however to make a copy of the introduction which says that mainly flak officers (and others) are not in the A1 list.
    2. It's got almost exactly the same form as the published 1945 RL for active flying personnel:
    3. This is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Actually, I always suspected this. There simply MUST have been some sort of list, somewhere on this planet, for G?ring and his chaps to keep an overview of the organisation they were running. Historians probably were - up to now - too incompetent to find it. But our very own Glenn has done it!!! (And I want one, too!!)
    4. BTW, here's the ebay picture of the backs: Light green for the bar with the Italian order.
    5. DOA 1908/09 lists only a Hugo du Roi, but also from Braunschweig, factory owner, with BrnL3b and others.
    6. I'm not sure I like this bar. Our friend from Austria has similar bars, he manages also the Bavarian style.
    7. I'm just wondering: Have you already got a pic of the back of the 2nd bar? Because the precedence is strange - Hungarian before Treudienst??
    8. I think this fits in here: Found this site which is advertising new, non-glowing ribbons made on a 100-year-old loom: http://www.ordensammler.com/html/ordenbander___ribbon.html
    9. Aha! This is clearly not a lot for one person, maybe for several members of a family! We have the Centenary, an NCO or Landwehr DA (which he would not have dropped on his later bar), Baden Jubilee medal, Z?hringen Verdienstkreuz.
    10. Here's the bio information for Prof. Fikentscher, who was Medical-Chief of the Kriegsmarine from 1940 to 1943. The DRK commander is missing in the awards sections, but it's clearly there on his bar. Admiraloberstabsarzt Prof. Dr. med. 11. Possible, yes. But we have examples of bars in wear where the two rows are not the same length.
    12. Very interesting bars, congratulations. The bottom bar must be the earliest one, 1934/35. Then he got the Italian Crown Order Officer, awarded up to Major level - Oberstleutnants already got the commander grade. Maybe the last bar on top is missing a second row...?
    13. Ah yes, he might have been an NCO during WW1 who got the XII. Here's the shoulderboard; I think I see only one colour. Afrikakorps Beamter?
    14. Ribbon bar probably: EK2, BMVX (no swords?), Hindenburg X, 2x LS, Sudeten w/ bar, Rupprecht medal?, Austrian Bravery medal?
    15. Have a look at my new pic: This elderly Bavarian fellow with 2 long service eagles is apparently still Oberleutnant-level, maybe Oberzahlmeister?
