Hey, long service is the reason for awarding these crosses. I would think the 50 almost came natural with the merit cross with crown!

Sorry to say, but there are a few missing, e.g. life savings medal ribbon, or three times white and black striped ribbon for repetitive bravery. Sash ribbon for the grand cross is not correct either. That would be the first class sash. Yet, very nice presentation!

The old factory of Zimmermann was basically excavated. The left overs were taken out of the ground and sold. Lots of stuff, all semifinish, finish medals etc. But all damaged and burned in various degrees.

They do not come with oak leaf. This one is from after 1945, seriously. -

Chris, actually, when you list stuff on Ebay in sensitive areas, the itmes apear with a time buffer. She told me they tossed one out after 5 hours, th other times after 2-3 hours. Once cut the Emails were pooring in. Andreas

Well, the seller said she tried 3 times to sell the group on Ebay, but was delisted even with covered swastikas. It is Ebay who is to blame, trying to enforce stupid policies.

Some may have seen those single medals on German Ebay as a result of the German law prohibiting Ebay to allow the sale of III.Reich Items. I managed to get a picture of the original group. Now destroyed forever. the pieces were sold to different buyers. Very sad. It is the Venezuela bar.
