Andrey, For me it's not a matter of "Denial Syndrom". To be blunt, I trust Ed and Dave's experience. I know that Neither of them are going to buy or sell a fake!!! Bottom line sometimes I agree with you and your experience and in this case I don't!! Doc

Andrey, As Rick, Ed and I all have documented groups with pictures in civilian or work out clothes, mine straight from our friend the researcher, I disagree with your opinion that the document pictures are tampered with. I have 100% confidence in my groups documents including Service record picture and feel the same about Ed's group. Doc

All I know is that this is his official Service Record photo. The fact that he was wearing work out clothes instead of his uniform was noted by the researcher. Doc

Stogieman, I confronted an Ebay seller for his wording i.e. not stating clearly that the PLM was a copy/fake. Another member contacted him, too. He added our statements to his description. Doc

The E scam Seller has added both Steve's and my reply to him and states that one person says that it's a Spanish Fake and the other a jewlers copy/fake. Stogieman, I don't know. Sorry!! Doc

That's why I collect...The Research As I can afford it I'll select a piece or group to be researched. I love to read the story behind the medal. It's History at it's best!!! Doc
