Riley1965 replied to Christian Zulus's topic in USSR: Soviet Orders, Medals & Decorations
Order of Victory, I find the coupon books frequently in groups of medals and documents to an individual for sale from our favotite dealers. Here's a coupon book to A researched group I have. It belonged to Colonel Boris Fedorov. Doc -

I regret that I played a part in the partisan rhetoric of this thread. In the future I'll try to make sure that it doesn't come out publicly on the forum. I'll keep it to myself or share privately. I'll try to make sure that I stick to the meat of the thread. I still believe Andrey's "evidence" not convincing. I look forward to seeing what the research shows. If wrong I'll conceed to Andrey's point of view. Until then I'm not convinced. Doc -

I see now that my post has been edited by someone. My words were not profane. I am owed an explanation!!! If my freedom of non-profane speech is to be usurped there had better be a GOOD explanation!!! The words I used were that of a gentleman, I DID NOT Curse!! Doc -

As for my vocabulary, my Father taught me that one does not need to use profanity to express one's outrage or irritability with another. Therefore, my carefully chosen gentleman's words...which I know were understood. With an open mind I ask: Andrey, Please point out and describe the problem(s) with the seal(s). I await your response. Andrey, I have looked at your documents with an open mind. I also take into consideration the Knowledge and experience of Ed & Dave. I'm just not buying your story, this time. As I said before, I do have a respect for your knowledge and experience and have enjoyed many of your posts. But, NOT this time!!! THE BODY OF THIS POST WAS EDITED BY CLUB STAFF!! Here's to a peaceful post, Doc -

Andrey, For me it's not a matter of "Denial Syndrom". To be blunt, I trust Ed and Dave's experience. I know that Neither of them are going to buy or sell a fake!!! Bottom line sometimes I agree with you and your experience and in this case I don't!! Doc -

Andrey, As Rick, Ed and I all have documented groups with pictures in civilian or work out clothes, mine straight from our friend the researcher, I disagree with your opinion that the document pictures are tampered with. I have 100% confidence in my groups documents including Service record picture and feel the same about Ed's group. Doc -

All I know is that this is his official Service Record photo. The fact that he was wearing work out clothes instead of his uniform was noted by the researcher. Doc -

Here's the response I got from the seller: Hi Doc, I clearly stated in my listing it is a pre World War 2 jewelers award. And it is a rare military collectable. In addition to that I also make it very clear that I guarantee complete satisfaction. It is obvious from my feedback rating and customer comments that I'm an honest and ethical seller. If anyone buys anything from me they are not happy and delighted with I will immediately refund selling price and shipping cost both ways. I appreciate you writing to me but I have stated exactly what this is for all to see. Thank you for your comments and all the best to you. George Titus mrwallpaper I gues that he won't clarify that it's a fake Doc

Ed, I agree!!! From everything I've seen $45-$50 is about right. It's what I paid for my Glory 3rd class. I've just requested the research. Doc
