    1. Since I know Igor doesn't mind we post his pix as long as we keep the copyright mention, here they are before they dissappear from his website when the order is sold. Jan
    2. In post 59 you can cearly see the blue ribbon with stripes for the friendship medal and the red ribbon with yellow stripes for the 50th anniv MPR medal. Jan
    3. They are mounted on the ribbons used for the ribbonbars. Jan
    4. Well, it was already posted elsewhere, but it seems more appropriate to do it here: Close-up of the Collar of the Grand Master of the Ordre de la Lib?ration
    5. Yes we have indeed slowed down a little have we not. Well it was to be expected, since this was the first place we could share information we just raced through all questions and answers we had on hand. Many questions have been answered, many remain, but these are the hard ones, of course. Some might even need the help of the Mongolian government to be resolved, others are about items so seldomly seen or so prohibitively expensive that thourough investigation and research, are hard. Anyway, I'm cooking up a few new ideas for new threads, but I have little time recently, and resizing all those pix demands just that, ... but soon
    6. I'm sorry for the outburst that was sheer frustration taking the upperhand. Just goes to show how hard it is to stop rumours Jan
    7. Looks good Ed, Although I have my doubts about this one: Type 2.3 (Screwback; no mintmark; Uighur; SN at 7 o?clock); Low = 1562/High = ????; 1937 Probably a year 37 award = 1947 And I'm always very sceptical about one-shots like this. Jan
    8. The multicoloured motif are actually the ribbons of the Orders the MRYL was awarded so we have: 3 Sukhebaatars, 1 Red Combat Banner and 1 Red Banner of Labour Jan
    9. Here's a close up. Jan
    10. Here's one I brought back from a trip to Myanmar a couple of years ago. 324 SUB. INSP. MG. Po Saing Police Dept.
    11. Belgian & Russian in one group...my favourite combination Lovely group Igor, congratulations Jan
    12. I don't know, since i don't read russian, I only look at the pictures
    13. No, I got them from a Belgian collecting buddy.
    14. I don't know if this particular piece is legit or not, but this badge has certainly existed. See Avers 2 n?339. It dates from 1926 Also in the Photokatalog for Labour badges 1920-1940: p158 Jan
    15. The second one from the left, strangely resembles the Mongolian 30th anniversary of the Victory over Japan medal, but suspended on a cloth ribbon, rather than on an enamelled plate. The third might be the Bulgarian 30th anniv of the GPW medal. If you look closely, you can see there was even another row beneath this one Jan
    16. Hi guys, I must admit I know next to nothing about TR awards, but I couldn't resist, when I found this tightly sewn bar. Any opinions? Thanks Jan
    17. Well, they are ... nice , but I prefer these 3 colonial production TOE's Jan
    18. Order of Nichan El Ahed El Mourassa of Tunisia Well that's about it
