    4. I believe that entry from 12.05.46 refers to him as Guards private of 104th Guards airborn division Under "104th Guards airborn division" we see "okr. (i.e. okrug/district) MGB.     7. Blue one reads "From front-line forces" It was used between 1914 and 1917. All letters from army to Empire were free of charge. During official registration of letter these stamps were used to indicate that "From front-line forces" can be in purple, blue or red ink. Of course there were unit stamps in Russian Imperial Army during WWI. Actually around 20 000 of such stamps!

    11. In 2006 on the riverside of Ressa search group found remains of soviet soldier. Next to him were found two german cartridge pouches full of 7,62-54 bullets, silencer “bramit” and two badges GTO 2nd class and “To participant of All-USSR athletes' parade of 1939”.
    12. Most likely he was killed in action (together with his comrades) June 30, 1942 shortly after crossing river Ressa on his way back ... Here you can see the place where he died
