    1. Rich, I'm not familiar with this type of airbrush. Is it similar to the old badger dual action types? If so, I think I still have a Badger manual lying around that may be of some use. Let me know and I?ll send you a scan once I have found it. Best, Sandro
    2. Fran?ois: an extremely knowledgable, inspiring fellow collector and a true friend.

    3. Beautiful collection, Rich, and - as shown in your other thread - great set up All the best, Sandro
    4. Ernst Petzold, 5./KG54. His jacket was discussed here .......... http://gmic.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=3526&hl=Petzold Regards, Sandro
    5. Entirely my pleasure. According to Luftwaffe im Focus, one of the G 38?s was pressed into service under designation "GF + GG". This plane was subsequently destroyedon May 17, 1941, during low level allied raids at Athens Tatoi airfield, while serving with KGr. z.b. V. 172. The pic shown in LW im Focus shows the aircraft in Norway, while serving with KGr. z. b. V. 107. Perhaps this info can be traced back to your grouping? Not sure what happened to the other Junckers G 38. Best, Sandro
    6. I?d put my money on the rather exotic Junckers G 38, of which according to LW im Focus, Volume 6, page 15, only two were built. Check out the comparison shot of the G 38 which I picked up from the web. Hope of use, Best, Sandro
    7. And, from the looks of it, a pole for an emergency flag. Wow, these are hard to come by. Cheers, Sandro
    8. Excellent set up, Jos. Are those brown Hoffmann boots? Best, Sandro
    9. Looks right to me, and would fit with the Dewoitine 520 shown in one of the earlier pics. Excellent grouping, rare in such complete state. Congrats on this great find Now, if a dromedary is a safe mode of transportation, what?s the lifeboat for .................. Cheers, Sandro GdC26
    10. This is a Dewoitine 520. Check out http://caea.free.fr/fr/coll/d520.html for a restored sample. Regards, Sandro GdC26
    11. Hello, I am looking for information on RK and DKiG holder Reinhard Aigen. Mr Aigen attained the rank of Oberfeldwebel, and was a Bordmechaniker in 7./KG 4 "General Wever". Date of birth: 20 May 1913, died on the Eastern front on 19 September 1943. Mr. Aigen received the Rk posthumusly, on 9 June 1944, along with around 8 other recipients. Any information on Mr. Reinhard Aigen is much appreciated. Thank you and regards, Sandro Rigutto GdC26 The Neherlands
    12. I concur with Mr. Rosenberg?s reading of the document. Perhaps this chart is of some use in further decyphering the document? Regards, Sandro GdC26
    13. I agree with luftyguy that this appears to be a a leather flight combi for flight over water, cut down to a jacket. No telling from the pics if the modification is wartime or post war (Germany was in less then great shape after May '45, and quite a few military items were altered for civillian use). The suits themselves are not too common, but there are not that many collectors looking for them, either. I think RelicHunter (Gerard Stelzelberger) offered a minty example recently for (if memory serves) around US$ 2000. In light of prices paid for similar items on for example German e-bay, I believe that to be at the high end of the scale. Hope of use, Sandro GdC26
    14. Hi Chris, Many thanks for the informtion. I will be very interested in (copies of) the pics and of any other documents pertaining to Mr. Petzold. Regards, Sandro
    15. For Chris. Pleasse let me know if this jacket looks familiar Cheers, Sandro
