    1. That is a nice looking, hard to find cross and the case is one of the nicest I have ever seen.
    2. Yes, they are making the rounds again. Here are a couple more examples----
    3. This particular cross can be found in 1813, 1870 & 1914 configurations both pin back and screwback and with various makers marks applied to them.
    4. I see some nice variations. I am looking forward to seeing more.
    5. "Funjoker" I have seen that name a lot lately. Any idea who he is?
    6. I do not know if this cross is good or bad BUT the silver stamp is a known stamp for the city of Berlin starting in the mid 18th century.
    7. Here is a V44 survival / fighting knife. These were originaly included in Jungle bail out kits attached to parachute harnesses. They also became popular as fighting knives. They were made by several companies. This one is by Case.
    8. A L.F.& C. 1918 trench knife and a Plumb model 1917
    9. Very nice Mike. I was high bidder on that cross with 23 seconds left. I really thought I had it but Mike and Mario beat me. That's life. I'll get the next one.
    10. Andy, That's 2 very nice crosses. I am still looking for one with the big backplate.
    11. This is the first time that I have seen one of these combos built using a 1930's replacement style EK. This is just my opinion --But I personally believe that maybe 1 in 10 of these combos that we see are period. I think most are resent put togethers.
    12. Maybe getting a cased cross will break the grip that screwbacks have on me Seriously, I think every Ek collection should have at least one nice cased example. All I need is one
    13. Very nice , guys. Good idea for a thread. Sadly I do not own a cased cross of any kind. Maybe it's time to start looking a adding one to my collection.
    14. As a former VICTOM of this scam. I think it is speciicly aimed at us stupid Americans. I completely fell for this Once i found out that it was for photos only I made several complaints to him and he offered to reduce the price from my winning bid of over $300 Euros to about $150 Euros. BUT his shipping cost to the US from Germany for a packet of pictures was $95 Euros. I refused to pay and after about a month had gone by I checked to see the status of the deal and he was no longer listed as a Ebay dealer. ( I beleive he was banned but I am not sure) Now he is back under a different name pulling the same scam.
    15. This is what it should look like. I Lifted this from a different thread ( Daniel, I hope you don't mind )
    16. The makers mark is VERY VERY faint. You have to look at it at an angle in the right light to be able to read it. This scan is very bad and you need to use you imagination to make it ou-- BUT it is there.--
    17. He has been doing this for a while under different Ebay names.
    18. Wow-Micha, I had to go give mine a thorough looking over again. My cross is not marked however the backing plate is very faintly marked "Victoria DRGM"
    19. It looks like "R" which would be for Alfred R?sner. I can not be 100% positive on this as I have never actually seen an R marked cross before. Mica might have an example to compare against.
