    3. Hi Sascha, sorry for the mistake - but I have read at Ohm-Hieronymussen (p. 31) that "...Badische Offiziere erhielten die preussischen Auszeichnungen." and thought they got the cross for 2o years as 1st class. you know it better - thanks for the correction! J?rgen

    8. To hold this treat alive... I would like to show you two bavarian. On the right the LS-Bar for the Landwehr, 2nd class. On the left - not often seen - the "normal" LS-Bar, given for 15 years of service, also bavarian. If anyone could show me his bar, especially the 1st class: you are welcome! regards westfale

    12. Hi! A few days ago I could buy at our local flea market this bavarian bar; I knew it's an "Landwehr"-Bar 2nd class in it's first variation given till 1913. But - does anyone of you have a little bit more information about manufacturer or date of manufacturing? Or does anyone have one to show for comparison? Here I found only a frontside picture, but not a rearside. Thanks a lot for help, comments, a picture... regards westfale
    13. Hi Peter, this is the mini of the prussian service-bar 2nd class (for 15 years); black (=iron) border for 3rd, white (=silver) for 2nd and yellow (=gold) for 1st class. here the mini (without bar) for the 3rd class: regards westfale
    14. After receiving this wounderful mini from Godet I would like to show it. It is amazing how detailed the enamel part is, especially if you know its measurement of 15x5mm! In the past years I have seen a handfull painted, but no one with enamel, so it took not much time to buy... First the front, 2nd rearside. Hope you like it, too... regards westfale

    18. Hi! I've read today about an "book" from the Ruhl Verlag, Leipzig, printed in germany 1915 with some paintings of prussian orders and decorations, called "Preussische Orden und Ehrenzeichen". Does anyone of you have one or more scans of these? Thanks a lot in advance westfale

    20. Hi! After waiting a long time (the price... ) and now receiving this beautiful Milit?r-Ehrenzeichen 2. Klasse - and after reading some of the post here - I would like to ask about the time it was made. I see after 1866 due to the "greater" ring - but is there any possibility to say pre 1914 or to put it into a special period of time? Thanks for help!
