    1. Che In short... I can not post any examples of the early Deumer series with any of the bogus marks I've seen. The only pieces I have on file are those I own... ALL unmarked. I have to ask: do you think your Observer badge is made by Assmann?
    2. I know that feeling all too well, Brother Anyway, I've been asked to show a larger shot of the Corps of the Anti-Aircraft Auxiliaries arm patch (Flakwaffenhelferinnen armabzeichen) so here it is.
    3. Che Here?s a comparison of an original, early, pre-war Assmann ?A? mark (left) found on nickelsilver/tombak examples (?A? marked, early pre-war pieces always being wreath marked) and the mark taken from your eagle marked Deumer (right)
    4. The "Assmann" mark is nothing like an original, and has been post-war applied. This is not the first time I've seen this done to these unmarked "Deumer" badges. A side-by-side comparison of Assmann (left)/Deumer (right) 1st pattern eagles. Chris.. Although close in design, the "Littlejohn" Example is the "Juncker" Observer Badge.
    5. And just before I 'hit the hay'... A few bits and Flak bobs. Nite all..
    6. 1937 2nd pattern insigne of the Flak Artillery. Hi Paul, I did.
    7. .....And here it is. 1936 1st pattern insignia of the Flak Artillery, ?Unteroffizier/EM? grade. Lasting only nine months, the badge was replaced by the more commonly recognizable 1937 2nd pattern insigne.
    8. Superb example, CHE. If you happen to come across another one...let me know.
    9. Superb photographic work, Bob. You should get bored more often!
    10. Just in...Model No.12 "Foxl Liegend" (Fox Terrier lying) by Prof. Theodor.H K?rner. Height: 12cm Length: 27cm
    11. This purchase was one of those that are a bit of a gamble. When I first saw this picture I thought it worth taking a chance. I waited for nearly three weeks and then received an email saying that the seller had received the parcel back, and had I sent the badge back? I hadn?t and asked him to send it again. Well, it arrived today (after a 4 week postal SNAFU) and this is the outcome of my gamble. An early example by this maker? with almost all finish intact! Many thanks to J?rg.
    12. Thanks for the info, Gary. The tabs are still up for sale (I think Paul may be getting his wallet out)? just thought they would be of interest to the cloth guys. I have, however, ordered one of the other ?T&S? pieces (en route) that I?ll post when it arrives.
    13. I echo that, Rich... Time to get that camera working, Che. I'm especially eager to see what's inside the "Deumer" case.
    14. Hi Moszi That is a very nice late 3rd pattern "Juncker" pilots badge. Are these pieces all to the same person or a group of items in your collection?
    15. The picture below gives some idea of what unit hand stamps look like. Generally, handles were made of lathe turned wood, attached to a solid brass disc engraved with the unit details.
