      Not sure, the box came with the medal, its not like one of the red Cardboard boxes like seen on other parts of the forum. Thats about as much information I can give Order of Victory P.S the only medal I have with its orginal box my is my Lenin and its being displayed without it

      As far as Im a ware the first and only first class was awarded to: Jacques Chirac, in 1997 2nd class im not sure of, but Ill put my bet on: Sergey Semyonovich Sobyanin, but cant find a date for his award Order of Victory

      I have mentioned a few times about a display I have with my Local museum, the curent display is due to be dissmantled and a new set up on the restoration and development of the Soviet Union after world war II (there will be more on this soon).       Intresting, I never trust sellars discriptions on ebay after looking at Wearers copies of HSU. I quiet like the idea of it being made by a German for infullration reasons, if there ws more info to back htis up I would buy it just for that reason. Order of Victory

      Just remined to post a pic of my BoH, I have been asked to do a new display of Soviet Medals this time soviet labour awards (Rebulding after World War II), and I dug out my BoH for the Dispaly heres a couple of pics. Type 4 Variation 1 its number is 235268. Still looking for my documented version...............
