    1. As many of you know, I love the unusual variants of the EK. That includes the different types of ribbon mountings. If you have something different, or even odd, please post it here. So far, this is the only one I have, a simple parade mount. The EK has been identified as a 75, a maker so far unidentified.
    2. Hey Guys, Been kind of quiet lately, so here's something maybe you can help me with. I've had this cross for a while and I'm curious as to the maker. I know there are some folks here much more knowledgeable about these than myself, so what do you think??
    3. I've never seen these before. Brilliant color. They would certainly dress up a display. So Gordon, what do you say. My cased KVK's for an old RK?? No reply needed. You're probably laughing to hard to type.
    4. Hmmmm...... Well, you know I might be tempted to trade my little collection for an old beat up RK if you're interested???
    5. Nice. And in beautiful condition. I bet Gordon will love these.
    6. I like these. I need something cheaper to collect so the wife doesn't kill me. She just said she hates being called "the wife". Like "the dog", but she'll live longer, so I'll have to be nice.
    7. Dave, I think you have a mean streak in you. You just let me know what it would take to tempt you......
    8. Hello Gordon, Now THAT would be a find wouldn't it. A W&L RK. I bet that would fetch a few $$$. I should have grabbed up that brass cored piece. Seems I've snoozed on a few good ones lately.
    9. Yes Sir, I saw that over at the other place. Looking good. You know Darrell has a nice 1st w/swords for sale and very reasonabally priced.
    10. Thanks Dave. Another stupid question. Is the difference in the various patterns the inscription only?? Are the obverses all identical?? Oh, and are these still reasonably priced?? Jim
    11. Man, that is one fat pin. Possibly a replacement?? I wish I knew more about these on sight. I usually have to ask Larry or Darrell. Can't wait for a certain book to come out!!
    12. Hmmmmm......... I remember a couple of these. Andy, whatever you do, don't lose that little pin!!! God, that would be a booger to find in the carpet!!!
    13. Apparently, no one has seen a screwback W&L. Something I did see on another forum was a brass cored W&L. So, another one I've got to find!! Now, if only I could talk Dave out of that mint 100 EKI.......
    14. Ohhh....... I really like that one. Very nice. That's yet another "I need it" piece for the collection. I don't understand how some of you guys can collect so many different things. It's going to take me years to get everything I want for the EK's, and I may never be able to get an RK. But, I guess that's why they call it collecting. Anymore of these little beauties out there???
    15. I think I need one of those "lucky" finds. I'm feeling left out.
    16. When you are talking about "voided", are you talking about cut outs?? Thanks.
    17. Darrell, Please forgive my ignorance, but what does DRA stand for, and why no swaz?? A very nice looking and elaborate design.
    18. Hello Darrell and John, I've always liked the design of these badges. How difficult is it to obtain a gold version these days?? And, are these reproduced in any great numbers?? Maybe you guys could give us a mini lesson in what to look for in terms of markings?? Thanks.
    19. Oh WOW!! Very nice. You know, I was very happy with my little sample collection of these KVK's, but now I'm looking at these RK's. What are you guys doing to me???? jumping
    20. Hello Gordon, Thanks for your response!! Nice looking set you have there. Ideally, the "matchbox" type is what I would like to find. Seems they never come up for sale anymore. Maybe I'll pass on this one and wait for the correct box. Thanks much. BTW, does anyone else have any they would like to show off?? Always love seeing these.
    21. Yes Dave, and you would know!! Tony, I put out the photo of your cross, and so far no hits as to the maker. But if I hear something, I'll let you know straight away. BTW Dave, I love your avatar!! I hope to have one like it some day.
    22. Hi Dave, A bit off topic, but I used to watch the BBC here late Saturday nights. There were two I enjoyed. One was Keeping Up Appearences, and the other title escapes me, but it was about a female minister that goes to a small village. She was a chunky girl, but very funny I thought. One other was about a group working in a department store that was pretty funny. And one that is still on I believe about a father and his grown son that live together and their anttics. And of course Benny Hill. Do you folks watch much American TV?? I don't watch much TV anymore, and I particularly HATE reality TV. I guess because of my job I like stuff along the lines of Law and Order, and CSI. I really enjoy Star Trek, but they are taking it off the air this year. Oh well, back to the History Channel !! (Where TV is safe)
    23. Hey Guys, Looking for opinions on this 2nd Class Spange and LDO box. Thanks for looking.
    24. John, Very nice set of wings. I don't believe I've ever seen these before now. Thanks for the advice. I think I like the P/O badge. The color contrast is beautiful. Jim
