    1. Next is a KvK2 w/o swords MM65, It has a little corrosion on the obverse. It came without ribbon but I have a piece extra so now it's complete. Thats it for today.
    2. Just came in thhe mail today, nothing overly special. First an orange ribbon KvM, now all I need is the KvK2 w/o swords in orange, comes with lots of ribbon which looks unused.
    3. Do you have anymore photo's of the one with the German troops? I dont think it's a Halifax after closer inspection because the nose is not sloped between the cockpit and the front turret. I am leanig more towards the "Wimpy"
    4. I am not sure if it's a Lanc. I dont think the part that looks like the dorsal turret is part of the plane, as it's odd looking for a turret, and if it is, it's to close to the cockpit, and the front does not seem right as the nose turret is not the right shape for a Lanc, plus the cockpit windshield on a Lanc taper's back for quite a distance, ending with a dome for the navigator which this one does not show. I am thinking more along the lines of the Vickers "Wellington", or the Handley page "Halifax".
    5. I knew it! You give a guy a little authority...........

    11. Nah, we are missing Al. And as I can't post an answer to the Chairmans welcome in his post, I just want to say, he might live to regret allowing all of us in here cheeky
    12. Military version. This was an amphibious version of the venerable 2 1/2 ton or as commonly know the "Deuce and a half"
    13. Sdfkz 81 6x4 Krupp Proetze, which means "Boxer" named after the motor that drove it. It was mainly used early in the war, as an artillery tractor for light A/T and Flak, which probably accounts for why you don't see many. It was driven by a 4-cyl engine and had all around independent suspension. Hope this helps
    14. Is that sort of like the Reserves, or as I think you call them, Territorials?
    15. Check this place out, no helmets but it has some tunics and other related stuff. Priced in US$ www.germanmilitaria.com It's in Fredricton, New Brunswick, Canada. The proprietor Peter Whamond iis a good guy and honest. I have bought lots from there and never had a problem. I am not sure what the GBP exchange rate to the US$ is, if it's anything like the Cdn$ to the GBP (approx $2.6 to GBP). you guys could get a good deal
    16. Here's afew canadian ones: PPCLI (Princess Patricias Canadian Light Infantry) Please Protect Canada's Little Idoits Piss Poor Canadians Lacking Intelligence RCR (Royal Canadian Regiment) Run Chicken Run They also go by "Chicken F*ckers". And according to the story, an officer came into the mess for supper, after meal hours and asked for the roast chicken that had been served at supper. There was none left, however he badgered and pulled rank on the staff. So eventually the cook roasted him a chicken with a special sauce in the cavity of the chicken. Hence the handle! This was my regiment when I was in the regular force, although I have no affinity for having sexual relations with chickens . They also have the distinction of being the oldest serving line regiment in Canada
    17. Thanks Nick I fiqured that it had something to do along those lines.
    18. EEEWWWW Does that mean you are not telling @ BJOW, as I am a simple colonial what does "Naf" mean, does it mean a "good" thing, or "bad'
