--dj--Joe
Thank you Don. I'm slowly searching for the silver and a Meister in the 1st. type. Don, do I recall correctly having seen a couple of versions of the 1st. type Meister Honor badge? --dj--Joe

Don, do I recall correctly having seen a couple of versions of the 1st. type Meister Honor badge? --dj--Joe I'm not sure, as it's a long time since I looked into them. Looking through Hüsken, it shows the Honour, see below. There is also a smaller stickpin without the wreath, but with the green leaves above the shield, what this is I'm not sure. Also, it looks as though the various regions had their own meisters as well... These gold & silver ones from Bavaria.
Scowen
Found a clearer picture of the honour badge...
--dj--Joe
Thank you Don. The two - with wreath and without wreath are the ones I recall having seen. Also not sure what the without wreath would be for. Unless it is like the center part of my gold example minus the wreath. (?) Perhaps they are all multiple piece construction. I will have to dig out my bronze to see. First time I recall having seen the Bavarian Meister's. --dj--Joe. Edited October 6, 2023 by --dj--Joe Thinking. :) More thoughts. --dj--Joe
I looked at my 1st. type examples - they are of multiple construction. Perhaps some enterprising individual attached a knurled pin to a loose centerpiece? The full wreath 1st. type Meister/Honor Badge, you show appears to be a one-piece badge, then enameled. --dj--Joe

--dj--Joe
The older I get the more I am drawn to the Veteran items. I see many veterans images wearing their medals but few with the member badge and none that I recall of the anniversary badges. One would think they would be seen proudly posing with them. --dj--Joe

I had a check through the pictures that I have in my collection & only one of them show an anniversary badge in wear, a 1937 version 25 year badge... --dj--Joe
Thank you Don. That would be the first anniversary badge in wear image that I have ever seen. --dj--Joe
--dj--Joe
Another of the few items I can share. Bronze, Wettkampfsieger 1939. (competition winner 1939). Armshield. I have observed the years 1937 - 1941.
