Paul C Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 As some of you may know my main thing is putting research material, i.e. ranklists, on CD. I am able to get ranklists on to CD in Adobe PDF format. It has been suggested to me to having the SS Dienstaltersliste on CD would be very helpful. I did some research and discovered that the 2 best SS Dienstaltersliste to have is 1938 (December) and 1944 (July). My questions are .. Have either of these books been reprinted? Whould it be of value to have the SS Dienstaltersliste on CD? I saw that Deltev Niemann sold an original 1936 SS Dienstaltersliste for 1000 euros. What you a fair price be for a 1936 and 1938 SS Dienstaltersliste on CD? Any help is appreciated.
Guest Rick Research Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 I happen to know the fellow who reprinted the 1938. Not only does he still have some from self-printing, but he would undoubtedly slice and dice anybody who copied HIS copy. Best leave that one aside.
Ulsterman Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 I think these would be best sellers. Trouble is finding them. the 1944 was reprinted a few years back. i think Detlev had a few not long ago as well. A complete range with mike Millers' docs would be -primo.

Ulsterman Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 Thanks-Great link.Having seen some of Millers' CDs I am agog with the wealth and complexity of the files contained therein.
J Temple-West Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 Reprints that I know of (and have) are:1st October 19341st July 19351st December 19361st December 19371st December 1938/15th June 1939, combined.1st July 1944.
MLW Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 For those who may be interested, I saw that a DVD with several SS-Dienstaltersloste is available on Amazon.com: http://www.amazon.co...s/dp/B0014EXODQ Cheers, Marc
ostprussenmann_new Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 Anbody have a list that they can look up information on a fellow by the name of E. Rot with award date of ss-honor ring 11.9.43
Deruelle Posted June 11, 2011 Posted June 11, 2011 Hi , I have never heard that one SS Totenkopfring was awarded on September. I remember the following months : April, June, November and December. Birthday of Hitler, Solstice of Suumer, Putsch of 1923 and Equinoxe of Winter. I have seen some ring with others dates like 24 december and 30 june 1934 (night of long knives). Inside the original ring there is no first letter of the first name. Christophe
ostprussenmann_new Posted June 11, 2011 Posted June 11, 2011 That's what I thought. My friend sent the stuff to me and said that it was in his families attic. He stated that his family didn't want the stuff in the house so paid for shipping and he sent it to me. Jason
