Gary B Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 Dear Gary, That is indeed a very rare pair. I only have 2 tabs in that waffenfarbe with the gulls, Major and Oberstleutnant.Gary B
gary9 Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 Gary B I was very lucky to pick these up off ebay, they had been wrongly listed as artillery, so no one bid on them except me.
Paul R Posted March 29, 2008 Author Posted March 29, 2008 It is a very pristine set!! You did well yet again. This set is to a TSD Judicial Officer. These guys were regular Luftwaffe Officers, instead of officials. I will move them to the TSD thread.
Paul R Posted June 13, 2008 Author Posted June 13, 2008 Here is my latest addition! Another from George Peterson's collection.I have no idea what the white layer is supposed to represent?
New Kid Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 HelloHere are the tabs which were sewn on my tunic ; sorry but they are very very salty :
Paul R Posted January 8, 2009 Author Posted January 8, 2009 HelloHere are the tabs which were sewn on my tunic ; sorry but they are very very salty :I cannot see them from my current computer. The firewall blocks image hosted attachments. I look forward to seeing them when I get home! :jumping:
New Kid Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 Paul, I hope it will work ; I just changed my hosting website since the other does not work anymore...

Paul R Posted January 9, 2009 Author Posted January 9, 2009 Hi, A nice study of tab construction.Gary BI agree!
New Kid Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 The shoulder boards which I delicately just removed (they were surely post-war resewn), to study it easily :It seems to be a re-used cardboard in it ; is it a common feature ?The other board :The paper tag was probably put on recently by a seller I think. One the two buttons which retained the boards :Are the buttons period or not ? The only markings are H.A on each.
Larry D Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 Hi New Kid,I can't comment on the subject, but I would like to say that your camera gives incredible resolution. The up close detail in some of your shots is truly amazing. Great photography work!Larry
New Kid Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 (edited) Thanks for the kind words ! My camera is a Kodak DX7590 zoom digital camera. The auto focus is not very easy to use; but when well stabilized, not too much zoomed, I just have to work the pictures a bit with Photoshop, and here you are !Er...I'm not paid by Kodak...It is true that when I sell (it is rare !), the buyers have good detailed photos... Paul R Posted January 18, 2009 Author Posted January 18, 2009 I really like those boards a lot! I would love to find a complete and untouched TSD tunic someday!
