    I do not think, that it is a veteran badge.

    I think, that it is a walking (hiking) badge, it could be for different walking distances. Organized and conducted by the "Resevistenkameradschaft Sulzfeld" in 1978.

    This is not Km but :Generaloberst Eduard Dietel (21/7 1890-23/6-1944) Born in Bad Aibling Bavaria.He got Narvik Shild in 1941.

    A thank you to everyone who has shown interest in this topic.But i hope that more people can contributed to the thread with their Narvik Items.

    I think that there are many more Pictutes And Narvik items as there are many members on this FORUM.

    At the end of World War II German prisoners of war from the Narvik area were held in a number of POW camps. The photos that follow were taken by a British officer who was at one of these camps at Kvitsandoren. These are five of the 200+ photos in his album from this camp and a second POW camp.
