Scowen Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 While we are showing off our lids, thought you may like to see mine.CheersDon
Scowen Posted August 25, 2005 Author Posted August 25, 2005 Other side. The colours are a bit off I'm afraid, too bright a light. I'll have to retake them when I get time.
Julian Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 Wow, do they come much nicer??Definitely a keeper! Thanks for sharing it.J
Helmetcrazy Posted August 26, 2005 Posted August 26, 2005 Prima! Danke fur zeigen...The going rates for these lids are very high. I hope I can find one some day. The only ones I can afford are the civic models.Wonderful helmet scowenJoeyPS. I am working on my German so forgive me if I make a mistake. Have to practice sometime
Jim P Posted August 26, 2005 Posted August 26, 2005 Very nice helmet Don.I missed out on his twin brother 5 years ago at an auction,I bid it up to $300,but Mr. Ron Wienand(who lives here in my town)has much deeper pockets than mine.It is very rare to come across militaria at an auction around here with out him showing up.I still go,if for no other reason than to keep him from steeling things at pennies on the dollar.Again very nice helmet.Jim P
Scowen Posted August 27, 2005 Author Posted August 27, 2005 Thank you gentlemen, yes these are getting expensive these days.Jim,It can't be easy finding anything with Ron hanging around.......CheersDon
