Guest Rick Research Posted October 27, 2007 Share Posted October 27, 2007 Actually, I think that is a FELT "Stahlhelm" from a WW1 veterans group from either Hungary or Austria-- the hole on the left side held some sort of badge/feather tuft as I recall. He's dented in the tops and sides to make it into a fedora.Mercifully, we cannot see his plaid golfing knickers and lime green patent leather high boots under the table....
