    Dear forumites:

Surely this medal has been already viewed by some forumites on another forum (WAF), nevertheless I would like to show it for those who might have missed it.

    Research of Rick Lundstr?m:

    Slt 19.9.88

    Plt

    Hptm 18.7.02 N2n

    Maj 25.7.10 K

    Oberstlt 22.3.15 N

    Oberst 22.3.18 Tt

    and aD in that rank

I'm not sure which of the no-awards-yet Premierleutnant von Stockhausen he was. In 1907 in Hessian Inf Regt 115, when WW1 started CO III./Oldenburg Inf Rgt 91.

He also held a Mecklenburg Griffin Order-Officer by 1914.

His SA3aXmKr was awarded on 16.3.17 as Oberstleutnant, CO Landwehr Inf Regt 26.

The Honor Rank List shows his last regimental command as Inf Regt 456 BUT the 1.1.18 and 1.1.19 Seniority Lists show him as "Commandant of Fortress Boyen."

He was gazetted a Prussian Crown Order 2nd Class with Swords (and so no HHO3X) in the Milit?rwochenblatt of 18.4.18.

I fortunate enough to find also the photograph of the medal bar's recipient... very interesting is Waldeck Offizierskreuz mit X: very rare, awarded only 21 times in WWI.

    Ciao,
