Erik Krogh Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 (edited) Here is my best S-Boot grouping. It is from DKiG winner Gerhard Woszek. The grouping consists of a portrait photo, newspaper clipping regarding the DKiG award, his documents (including his pre-S-Boot badge Destroyer doc), and a great photo album. There are a couple of pages in the photo album devoted to his Flottille sailing down the Danube.Let's see what other S-Boot groupings there are out there! Edited February 11, 2008 by Erik Krogh
ErichB Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 (edited) Erik a fantastic grouping I must say with actions photos just to add. Are there date inscriptions with the action shots ? Gerhard Woszek born: 09.10.1919, received the DK : 07.01.1944 as Seem.Uffz.E ~ Edited February 10, 2008 by ErichB

Erik Krogh Posted March 29, 2008 Author Posted March 29, 2008 Erich, Richard, and Nesredep,Thank you for your nice words! I really love groupings because they tell a more complete story than single items. All The Best,Erik
Chris Boonzaier Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 Those are both very nice groups indeed.S-Boots dont have as many "fans" as U-boots... but they must have been an equally exciting branch to serve in!!!
