norwest78
That's really in very fine shape, congratulations! The gun was made by Emil Eckholdt, who produced 22,800 with the marking 'ECKO', and 4500 with the marking 'ojr'--Kevin
norwest78
I recently sold my Ln marked flare gun, but kept the Fl marked one. It is made by Gustav Bittner Werke, GBW, who produced only 5500 flare guns during the war. What I really like about this one is the brass fittings.--Kevin Edited April 13, 2008 by norwest78

I must admit that I have never seen one of these flare guns, from that manufacturer before. With only 5500 produced by that manufacturer, I guess, that it must be quite rare today. What's that marking, below "1941", on your gun?All the bestSnoopy
