Guest Rick Research
VERY nice early civil award! Actual award date was probably in the previous month, since privileges started then on the first day of the month following, unless this WAS a May Day award. Ed_Haynes
This research came with a stack of newspaper articles, Xeroxed (not always well). One is especially interesting, and the (well-paid) researcher both transcribed and translated this one).I hope this is legible. Paul R
Very nice grouping Edward. I have never seen such an early variation of this order with it's original documentation! RegardsPaul
Gerd Becker
Absolutely fantastic WITH Document and WITH Photo Ed, the translation states, he was awarded an Order of the Red Banner of Labor. That would have been also a Type 2 Screwback type, if thats not a mistake. Imagine a Screwback ORBL added to this group. Thanks for sharing some treasures of yours best,Gerd
Ed_Haynes
I noted this too. I imagine it was this award, mis-listed, but who knows . . . . Possible WOW.
Vadim K
I noted this too. I imagine it was this award, mis-listed, but who knows . . . . Possible WOW.Ed, what is the name of the award in the scan in post #7? I can see the beginning of word "trudovogo" peeking out, so it seems to say "Red Banner of Labor" too.
